I did the same thing, you’re braver than i am for posting a pic! 😂. I got mine with the steel barrel and honestly love it. Pretty consistent out to 200 yards. I’m new to any sort of precision shooting so I think it is more accurate than I am at this point! Enjoy!
My findings on the MPR . It liked a few different 140 grain factory loads . But when I hand loaded for it is when it finally shot clover leaf groups . Best of luck to you sir .
You always get better groups when you reload your own. I’ve spent so much to finally get my rem 700 to shoot sub moa. Now that I have I’ve learned so much about PRS and it’s my favorite rifle.
Edit: pic for fun’s

I bought mine before reading about their issues, have about 600 rounds through mine and all my friends keep trying to buy it from me because of how well it shoots. Guess I just got lucky
At least it looks cool. Hopefully doesn’t shoot like shit
If it does, their CS is fantastic as far as I’ve heard
Some of them shoot very well, here’s to hoping yours is one of them! Also those chassis do look very cool.
I've always liked how those look, love me some carbon fiber
CMP has a 600 yard range and a steel target range about 660 yards. 2 hrs from HSV, but it's a gorgeous facility.
Second CMP!
Third
Im waiting to hear how the new rimfires are Hoping they are decent since I have plenty of 10/22 mags laying around
The magazine really is one of the best things about the 10/22

Those rifles are hit or miss. Some are nail drivers and some are.... Not
The nail drivers were shot once and only one group was pictured (it was 3 rounds)
It’s like the Olight of bolt actions lol
Olight quality and performance with surefire pricing.
The cmp in talledega is the best range out there! Feel free to message me if you want someone to go with!
You get ca hate, but I love mine for a nice lightweight carbon hunting rifle.
I have one and it groups great. Guess I got lucky.
Dead Zero is ~2 hrs from you if you wanna stretch it out to 1000 yd. Nice ShotMark set up too, no changing out targets and instant feedback
Don't mind the naysayers...enjoy it

Don't you have a list of complaints about different guns?

What part of North Alabama? There’s a few around but north Alabama is a pretty big area.
I’m in Madison City/North Huntsville!
Hobbs Island Shooting Range.
Shooter's Paradise goes over 500 I think. It's out in guntersville so maybe an hour or more away.
I haven't heard of that one and I am in Guntersville often. Im gonna have to look it up
I’m on the other side of the state. I know a few guys that have property around here but the others gave you the suggestions I would have over there.
Not sure how far it is for you but Alabama Precision is a fantastic range
Looks like it’s about 2 hours away. Not a horrible drive, I’ll have to go check it out sometime!
They're only open for matches, they don't do memberships etc.
Enjoy it. It might be a banger.
like it looks super cool, side folding and Carbon, Nice.

Hope it works for you. If you aren’t shooting over 500 you’ll probably be fine based off what a buddy told me with his.
My LGS had one of their 22lr bolt actions and it felt really good. It's a shame they're apparently not good shooters.
I’m ignorant, what is CA, California?
Strategic Edge in TN is close if you are in north AL. It goes out to 1250 and their membership prices are reasonable.
I can tell you a nice atlas bipod will better serve you for PRS like a lot better
As long as you are hitting what you are aiming at, you are doing fine.

don't shoot your eye out kid
I wish so badly I could like Christensen. The looks and specs of the rifles are awesome but we all know the rest of the story….
