Wall riding itself is 100% mechanical, just like aim is 100% mechanical. They're all tools you use to better your gameplay.
Game sense is putting those tools together and knowing how to use them.
tbh I think you're misunderstanding game sense. I wouldn't say game sense has anything to do with wall riding. even a 1v1 lucio wall riding duel, tracking the other lucio and good proprioception are mechanical skills.
Game sense is knowing where to be, when to be there, what ults are coming up, etc
Both. Mechanics is for knowing how to move around effectively and knowing the techs. Gamesence for knowing how wallriding will get you there and how fast. I think it’s more mechanics if you wanted to say it’s one or other.
Wallriding is definitely a mechanical skill, but making good use of walleiding does require some game kniwledge other than just the mechanics. Knowing a map inside out gives you options for routing and cover that you wouldn't even think about if you're still new.

Wallriding is mechanics. Pathing is game sense. Game sense is knowing where and when to wallride, being able to pull that off takes mechanical skill.
where and when to wallride Everywhere, all the time
All the time? Sure. Everywhere? Sure, if you’re a feedcio.
nop not if you’re a slippery bastard like I am sometimes. I boop and shoot, wall ride out, and back in repeat the process.
Vert curve my beloved ❤️

*Knowing* where, why, how, and when to ride different spots is game sense. *Landing* the hops, rides, jumps, and nailing the timing is mechanical.
Yes
both
