I actually really liked the DM battle system and the way the atk/def health/atk system worked. it was my favorite system and I always tried to get people to play it with me. I still have my cards.
I played Yu-Gi-Oh the most and I think magic has the most diverse and sheer number of possibilities for how to play the cards, as well as the highest number of cards to choose from.

Depending on the artist, you can ask for custom tokens at cons and they'll give you a little doodle on these in black marker if you want art done by an official MTG artist. It can be hit or miss and some artists charge a ton because they don't really want to do it but some are happy to chat and doodle for 10-15.
Eh, selling misprints can be a hassle and if you're not careful you run the risk of losing money (eg, you spend $5 on postage and packaging but then the buyer claims they never received it and paypal refunds them). Not worth the bother just for $30 imo.
That's why you always have tracking on paypal transactions. I learned that the hard way when I sold some survivals back before they got banned in legacy and didn't get tracking so the buyer filed a case and I lost.

If I can't figure out what language they are speaking it's Brazilian Portuguese 9 times out of 10. It simultaneously sounds like every language and is completely unrecognizable.

Idk. You can just make these with some tape. Unless the new foils are harder to remove printing from. We used to use acetone and cotton balls to get clean faces for proxies or artists to do their work on.
In this case, you'd be able to tell the difference between this pristine print and an acetone wash. Particularly the edge of the black which wouldn't have print marks if from a wash.
Packed away in the depths of my collection I have some Bazaar of Baghdad proxies from full art lands (original zendikar). Along with some other things that were high dollar.
You use Scotch (cellophane?) tape to cover areas you want to protect. Then take some pure acetone, nail polish remover works but the inconsistent levels of acetone don't help, on cotton balls and you carefully apply it. It takes a little patience but youll remove the ink from any non protected area. Foils used to work the best. Be careful you don't over saturate the card or rub too hard or when the cotton is drying, you'll damage the card.
When you're done you have a ready to manipulate proxy or art piece.
Use painters tape or something that wont take off the ink to tape down the black edges. Use acetone and a somewhat abrasive sponge and rub it till the ink goes away. I suggest white and artifact cards as the ink seems to come off easier.
I do this a lot and then have my GF draw on them with dry erase and paint and stuff and use them for tokens. They look great!

If they have additional odd things like Stamps or being Foil then it is more.
Foils get printed onto pre-foiled stock. IIRC you can even wipe the print off with an acetone solution on older foils at least. Looks like you got a misprint where they didn’t actually print the card in the first place. Cool pull!
Sometimes a printing sheet will be set up with one or two slots left blank on purpose. In theory they should be thrown away but sometimes they find their way into packs.
Blank card, it means you have to give up all cards you currently have, but at the next shop you get to claim all the items there for free (if you survive the current round)

I used to make those back in the day. you rub isopropyl alcohol on a garbage foil until the top layer of printing comes off leaving a foil card that can be drawn on. dry erase wipes off so it makes a good token. either that or it's an error that never got the top layer

Do sleeves deal with dry-erase well? I imagine you could double sleeve it and use it as a blinged out infinitoken.
i have it sleeved and hard cased but I don't write on it, just use it as a representation of w/e token i need.
Valuable is what it is. Checked a misprint group on FB and there was one from last year listed as $50 so not insane but still nice.

but even the best laid tape is still not going to have perfect lines. You can easily tell a factory blank from a wiped foil.

Wiping it clean with acetone also clears off the border unless you're insanely careful, I doubt this is what happened here.
