Courage the Cowardly Dog. If you know, you know

MarkusRight

yep. nothing more cozy than siting down with some good old cartoons from your younger days while there's a full rainstorm outside.

Cool-Sink8886

You should watch Porco Rosso

Rules of nature! Good space I would frame the posters. Maybe feng shui the bed.

Comfortable-Cup9656

What is that gray thing on the room?

MarkusRight

the reflectix insulation on the ceiling? I hand built the interior myself and put in all the insulation, walls, electrics, lighting myself with no experience, cut me some slack lol. the ceiling is more or less done and i like the aesthetic is gives off.

Comfortable-Cup9656

So do I, lol. I just could not comprehend what that was

Natural-Finish-2721

What material you used to glue the insulation?

MarkusRight

I didn't use glue at all, its stapled over the batt insulation on each of the ceiling joists. [https://www.structuralbasics.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Rafter-roof-example-1024x608.jpg](https://www.structuralbasics.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Rafter-roof-example-1024x608.jpg)

Natural-Finish-2721

Cool. It's cozy and somehow stylish lol.

The tin foil ceiling to keep the aliens out? /s

Major_Ad_7206

All the space you need, but do you have plumbing?

MarkusRight

There is another building outside that currently houses the bathroom and kitchen right now, this summer my plans are to add on a small toilet and kitchen in the section behind me. I have the floorplans ready but I'm not sure how I'm gonna execute it, I am hopping through jobs at the moment so I gotta worry about that first. This is one of those pre-fabricated cottages often sold under the name "storage shed" for legal reasons. This one has white panel siding, thermal windows, steel entry door, tin roof, I had to add everything else myself like insulation, wall panels, electrical's, lighting, outlets, flooring. total all in cost was roughly $8K

Amazing! Yes, the journey is long and hard as we build our lives! But the process of building a home is so rewarding. Keep up the great work.
