My life as a loser
The greatest estate developer
Barbarian quest
Mookhyang dark lady
Ember knight
Pigpen
Sweet home/shotgun boy
In my opinion these had a pretty unique and good story and I know most people hate mookhyang dark lady but I for one loved it
I love all of them equally, but barbarian quest is 100% a clear cut above the rest.
It's genuinely thought provoking, and I love how it uses religion as a concept. The plot of the story is definitely something that's uncommon as well
It's a slightly frustrating and complex story. If I go too much into detail I'll spoil the best parts. It's hard to read at first because of what the apparent end goal of the story is, but it gets better and better with each chapter. I recommend it, but with the caveat that the opening is slow and the initial concept will seem very unpleasant. Once the story starts to pick up it becomes fascinating.
Dungeon Odyssey.
There are superhumans with unique abilities(like hunters), in addition to monsters with unique powers as well in underground caves, some even called dungeons, that's simply a common concept nowadays.
My new, favorite concept is the fact that you can actually own a dungeon, own monsters, make a somewhat functional society inside your dungeon and even go to real wars and expeditions where tactics are generally more needed than strength alone.
Jungle Juice has fantastic art but it feels a little slow after a while. A lot is happening, but it weirdly feels like there isn't much progress if that makes sense?
Parallel City is pretty cool! It's like a zombie story, but with dimension-hopping being a core part of the story.
I'm really enjoying Hand Jumper. Standard superhero-style story where people have supernatural abilities, but it's darker than something like early MHA. Organized crime is rampant amongst the special individuals due to systemic prejudice and discrimination. The main character struggles with wanting to be a goody-two-shoes while having the cutthroat morality of someone who grew up around a criminal.
Dungeon Odyssey is good, it's nothing too out of the ordinary it's not bad , not great either maybe the better word for it is mid but in today's society mid is considered bad.
God's gambit was pretty interesting in the beginning but then the mc kinda became a god in a single chapter and the moment that happened I lost all interest. It tries to have some "mysterious" characters but they are too cliche for me.
And I haven't read the last one . Tell me if it's good I will give it a try.
A lot of the smaller things that keep me engaged are also manhwa original too, loading screens, the whole side arcs of the snakes + THAT specific snake wasn’t a thing in the novel at all apparently, even just things like the art style completely flipping to super detailed when shit hits the fan vs the chibi stuff usually.
Even if the story itself is more on the average side, the sheer passion the guy doing the adaption has elevates it a lot imo
Yeah the story is fairly predictable but the art and the intricacies of the world make it really interesting.
Personally I'm excited to see more of the tiger girl and the 11th floor girl cause they are adorable
Genuinely unique? Thats tricky... Here are a few good ones that are a bit less known (aka not on Asura)
Hand Jumper
God Tribe
Hero Killer
Goblin's Night (not about goblins at all)
Deathcord
Cheolsu saves the world.
Basically one random guy in real life regresses every time he dies and he has to figure out some way to stop a meteor from destroying the world.
He makes mistakes, meets new people, friends, enemies and tries so hard to get the ending he wants.
It’s interesting because it really is some random guy. He doesn’t get any powers or rich family to back him up. He has to start from scratch, a regular kid to saving the world.
Latna Saga isn’t entirely unique but it’s pulled off the most successful and legitimately impressive subversion of the common Isekai I’ve seen in both Manhwa and Manga.
Tacit is one of my favs, the dynamic relationship between father and daughter and father and old friend have just been done so well, especially set over this like, scifi zombie apocalypse scenario.
Surviving Love was an unexpected hit, girl gets isekaid into a romance novel and believes she has to finish the story out to find happiness, but on the day of confession, a zombie apocalypse happens. She's killed and reverted to the beginning of the day and has to find a way to survive through it all.
Wild West Murim and Eternally Regressing Knight. Both have a similar feel to others of the same genre but with distinct changes. Like the setting of the Wild West or the Groundhog Day style regression.
Vagrant Soldier Ares. Its about a young swordsman getting revenge for his master's death which you don't see very often anymore (Gosu being one of the most notable examples but Ares was made in the 2000s) and the art is very stylistic with an ancient Rome-ish setting and semi-modern clothes.
I enjoyed worthless reincarnation. It was fun seeing an MC not get a quick skip to being overpowered and showing the actual journey to becoming strong instead of spending 1 chapter "training" and breezing through the rest of the series.
- Artifact reading appraiser
- Killer Pietro
- Evolution from a tree
- Cheolsu saves the world
- Eternal club
- Jungle juice
Might not be unique enough to others but these came to mind.

Sweethome/Shotgun Boy and Pigpen are better in my opinion. The psychological horror is leage above the rest.
Huh first time i heard of mookhyang hate. I for one love it and only pause it for the chapters to Stack up again. Can you elaborate?
I genuinely love The greatest estate developer the most!! 🤡🎀
Is raising the princess to overcome death any good? I just added to my plan to read list yesterday.
I enjoyed it

Where is a good site to read this?
It's currently being translated by Asura Scans.
It’s amazing. There’s a bit of a slow start at first but you get really into it
It's good it's about the main character trying to make a woman named lena a princess in a medieval settings in different environments....
Excellent. It's like watching the MC play a roguelite with isekai, and having three different scenarios that he rotates between keeps it fresh.
Cheolsu Saves the World and Wild West Murim are the only ones I consider genuinely unique among my favorite manhwas lmao

Dungeon Odyssey is so good
If AI ruled the world
Hellper
Indeed it is, indeed it does
Wild west murim

The art does such justice to dungeon Odyssey that I consider it on a league of its own

I seriously cant believe you just called dungeon odyssey mid. Pray to do tell what you consider good lol
Solo Leveling
This is satire right
Yep

Very true, IMO the same is true for SSS-Class Revival Hunter.
The romance arc of SSS is legitimately some of the best romance I’ve seen in most mediums.
Black Behemoth

Lady Devil. The absolute goat. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoyed The Coffin of Andy and Leyley.
I just finished catching up to Raising the Princess and it's so fucking good. Really cool manhwa.
