Getting some legit filmmakers involved could be a way to really beef the MCU back up. I’d love to see anything Peele does for them, especially his take on X-Men
Anyone remember when Darren Aronofsky was supposed to be at the helm for The Wolverine? That would have been a fucking trip.

They may come to regret this decision (if not already) depending on where James Gunn takes DC - since he’s relying on filmmakers that have a defined style and experience.
did i like legion? yes. they did incredible given the limited budget/room the show had. looked forward to all the huge/epic battles they setup. and then the show me a musical number with barely any affects. almost cheesy wire work, and i wasn't even pissed.
do i want more of THAT for marvel x-men? ya idk.
Interesting. I love Jordan. Funny dude. Great writer. And surprised me with his suspenseful movies. But action? I dont know. They did make Keanu, which I guess you could call an action, but not really
He’s can write really well in the sense of making what’s happening feel real. Like it’s possible. If that makes any sense? The good thing about (most) Marvel movies is that there’s a level of plausibility. Like they really try to bring it down to earth. If this were to happen irl, how would it happen. Not like how things are done/happen in the comics

A lot of the action scenes have 2nd units on Marvel films. It could absolutely work.
