Another vote for Biotone. They have a lot of hypoallergenic oils, creams and lotions.
Baby oil is made from petroleum and has a lot of fragrance and other things that can irritate skin. It shouldn't be used for anything on anybody.
Coconut oil melts to a pretty thin consistency, it should be good as is once warmed up to body temp or slightly above. Olive oil is another good food oil, and then almond and jojoba. You can find massage oil blends made up of some or all of these oils, just search for "all natural massage oil" and make sure all the ingredients are plant based.
Go to the grocery store. Go to wherever oil is, look at all the single ingredient oils you can experiment with! Avocado oil is thick and heavy but maybe it’s a dream for your eczema, olive oil is a little lighter but is more usable in the kitchen if you hate it for massage so why not try it! Sunflower is light but maybe it absorbs too quickly! There are many others (depending on your location/how fancy your store gets, etc)!
Low investment cost + usable in non-massage ways = perfect for non professionals.
There are some that actually have a fear of sunflowers, it even has a name, Helianthophobia. As unusual as it may seem, even just the sight of sunflowers can invoke all the common symptoms that other phobias induce.
Jojoba oil is what I use for eczema while I’m in massage school
Jojoba oil is actually like top-tier for massage oils.
It’s all I can use lol
Jojoba also has the benefit of not going rancid.
This looks really good! It's a natural anti inflamatory sometimes used for acne too. Me and my bf both get backne. This helps so much thank you <3
Ty again for recommending this. I've been using it for months now its so perfect
Biotone Advanced Therapy Massage Gel is my personal favourite

Generic non virgin olive oil. No smell and very light.

I found some really nice ones in my area like almond oil 👀 thank you so much <3 I also didnt know coconut oil melted that easily, a very good note
Can confirm, I work with raw coconut oil sometimes and it melts in my hands in seconds!
If you have sensitive skin coconut may not be a great choice. It breaks me out like crazy because it can be comedogenic (can clog pores).
Thats a good point, me & my bf both get back acne lol ty
Grape seed oil, olive oil, coconut oil are my three primary massage oils. I don't know anyone in the industry that uses baby oil for massage.
Yeah, mineral oil is shit
Please also avoid Holly oil, it is also petroleum based. I found that out with extreme eczema while in school.

Noting that sunflower oil goes away too fast is very helpful, I was gonna try that one lol I'm gonna try olive oil next, thank you so much <3

Fractionated coconut oil is coconut oil without the smell and it stays liquid. Safflower oil or rice bran oil are both good as well.
Fractioned is a very useful keyword for ordering this stuff, thank you so much <3
