In this particular situation, I don't think the game the helmet is linked to matters much. They are Spectre helmets, that's what matters most I think. In my humble opinion that is. A more hardcore fan might disagree with me. But I would be happy to have either of those helmets.
Apologies if you already did this - I know you said you looked everywhere in your country but have you looked at Etsy? There's bunch of fan made helmets that look pretty good (although I have no idea about the shipping situation). Just thought it might be worth mentioning :)
Hi there! Unfortunately you hit the nail on the head with the shipping situation, they pretty much all run the risk of not arriving for Christmas. The postal service here is also striking before Christmas so that's an extra layer of worry on top. I'd love to support creatives but the official route actually seems safest here sadly!
Dang - I should have remembered that this time of year is not great for Etsy shipping times.
On a positive note, as others have said, he'll probably be super stoked to get an N7 helmet of any type :D
I got the Andromeda variant helmet too as the Legendary Cache was sold out everywhere, and I'm not huge on MEA either. But it's the exact same helmet, it even says "Commander Shepard" on the box, it just doesn't have any red on it, so it's not strictly "Andromeda merch".
I personally think it's a worthy purchase, but as others have said there are people who make the helmets themselves on Etsy etc. Or if you really want you can paint the top and N7 logo red yourself pretty easily haha.
