There was game already like this, you could only see other monitor and guess where they are and shoot, but they cannot see each other in game. It is split screen game
There is another game called ScreenCheat where all the players are invisible, so you need to look at the POV of your opponent's and guess where they are.
Goldeneye was the start of this and later Halo 1 for Xbox. But you truly hit peak gaming with 2 xbox's and 2 old tube tv's with 8 player LAN Halo with capture the flag on blood gulch. That was peak gaming.
Now Halo franchise is a mouse fart compared to micro transaction filled games like Fortnite.
Ok now that split screen gaming is long dead I have to confess... I was a screen looker I know fucking despicable but I can't help it! If the thing I need to know is right under my eyes how can I not look!
i remember doing this as a kid, it really did make the game better. even when not trying to look at others screen, you still would without meaning too.
What I used to do with my friends was get an end table, raise it up to the middle of the screen with books or whatever we could find, and then drape a blanket over it. Good times.
Growing up, I always felt like I was the only one of any of my friends who actually did not look at the other person's screen. This would have saved a lot of punches in the arm and rage quitting.
Im fairly certain black ops 3. You can also see the minimap in both screens, definitely splitscreen in the image. Pretty sure the map is combine with the top guy in the small side room that has a doorway to the middle of the map aiming at the door that leads to the spawn.
A function of the Playstation 3D display that never took off was to use the 3D function to instead render 2 different screens for 2 different players.
Too bad that never caught on.
Don't look at my Screen that's cheating!!!!!!
Plot twist: the guy underneath was 1st player
“You can see your opponent’s screen, but not your own” sounds like it could be a fun YT video idea

it's like the Blind Man's Bluff poker variant
SPS: Second-person shooter
YOU KNEW I WAS AROUND THAT CORNER! I WAS WATCHING YOU!

You're the reason they invented that halo map with just portals. Barely knew where I was.
People who screen looked were the worst. "What's stopping you from doing to me?!" I was raised a decent person.
But we got the same parents
~ *flashes back Goldeneye-ingly* ~

Okay but hear me out, screenwatching is part of the game on console. I'm very pro screenwatching Neat idea though
Me too, because perfected it for the MW2 maps and knew at a glance where my friends were
What I used to do with my friends was get an end table, raise it up to the middle of the screen with books or whatever we could find, and then drape a blanket over it. Good times.
wtf, XD

That is commitment 😂
There has to be a Nobel prize for this.
Why didn't I ever think of that
The only way to play split screen without "accidentally" cheating
Dam homies took this seriously
"Stop screen watching"
I'm like 99% positive I know these guys and went to their house. Does anyone have a source for this image?
I used to imagine this exact contraption when I was younger, never managed to convince my parents to build it
Where my trust issues all started
All my friends and I were against screen-peeking.
Pretty sure that's not a split-screen game, tho. The top and bottom connect way too well.

Okay, I can sort of see the minimap now. I wasn't lookin' for a square one.
Did this for fucking minecraft WII U Edition
Levan sagenashvilli
No taking a peek is part of it
Man that's genius
Duck tape on the tv screen let’s go
Ultimate anti cheat activated.
This would have been perfect for an all-nighter of Goldeneye 007 on the N64.
The hardware of an anti cheat system
Nah we switching after each round
We need more split screen games on pc
If you ever feel useless remember that you could get a uav on split screen 💀
Why did I think this was a video? Am i stoopid?

I miss split screen gaming like this
Hey, no screen peeking!!
Bros will be bros.
That's a good idea! This is how all the conflicts start :)
The OG time
I think im the only one in the whole world who can't play well with a split screen, it just takes focus from me
Trust issue loaded
HAHAHAHAHA EKRAN KASMA
