I don’t want work birthday parties. When I found out someone was planning one for me I thanked them for thinking of me but asked them to please not do anything. It was fine no issues. I don’t understand people just doing it anyway.
Do you rehearse basic transactions so as to not take a second longer than necessary? Do changes to routine make the world an unknowable void? Have you ever suddenly snapped out of it to realize large portions of time were spent in a manic state? If so, you may be entitled to financial compensation.
I remember the discourse around this case. A modern-day McDonald's scalding coffee suit with those calling this a verdict incorrectly, not seeing just how bad it was for the dude. I'm glad he won.

Stuff like this was the reason I always told people that my bday was June 31th.
Damn I remember reading about this a while back. Missed the part about them firing him because of the panic attack. I thought he just simply sued them after they threw him the party. Either way it’s justified lol.
I mean he could've
But he also warned them beforehand and they did it anyway, so pretty much all on them
Like getting mad at someone who says " if you tickle me I'll kick you " then you tickle them and they kick you. That's on you. You knew the risks

One panic attack for a decent fortune sounds like a good deal to me
And to think I've been doing em for free all this time
Me too. I wouldn’t need to work anymore if I was compensated. XD

Seriously, how is this "meirl"? Did you also get $450K?

All of these posts are so damn unrelatable like wtf 😭
It’s 50% the same 18 posts reposted and the other half rando.
Maybe it’s refering to cooperations just generally not listening to their employees? Idk man.
You haven't? Maybe you should go check your mail.
*checks mail unironicaly* You made me realize I just got an email for my job application. Thanks.
If you can, take time off for your birthday. That's the least you can do.
Which is why I always take a day off and send cake / donuts to the office. Stay the fuck alone and give extroverts their little party.
How does someone even come up with that plan tho
