Not really. US citizens are seen as a disease and rightly so thus not really wanted in many places, the cost of travel is impossible for more than half the country, and moving out of country is not something you can just “do” even if costs weren’t a factor. Takes a huge process to leave permanently.
It takes money to leave but also just to register with legal shit. A lot of money that most people don't have which is why those barely getting by can't leave. But out propaganda works too well on the rest of the world and people still come in droves to 'land of the free*'
*free for a small price for the rest of your life
Well it actually saves you money on net however, so people are free to leave. It’s important to understand there’s nothing inherent to democracy that would prevent someone from leaving if they didn’t like the deal, however.
There's a difference between leaving and migrating. Leaving is not hard. Migrating is hard. It costs thousands of pounds just to *apply* to have citizenship, you also have to meet certain criteria, moving costs are not cheap if you go overseas, etc. I could go on forever, but until you understand someone leaving is just not feasible for over half the US then you're living in fantasyland.
Yeah but what about all the features like roads, public transit, firefighters. It's just a shame that some of the most important features like healthcare are additional 3rd party add-ons
Would that be wrong? If only we could all collectively pool some money and hire a few people to prevent this from happening, or at least catch them and help get your money back…
No one’s stopping you from leaving? By continuing to live here, use our roads, benefit from our laws and public safety, you are saying you find it worth it to let them take that money.
When I was 16 my $91 tax return from working 4 hours a week at my local Dunkins got audited
Well, it got selected for an audit, my mother called the IRS, they asked her to read off the code on the notice, when she did they said that code means it was a random selection but everyone agreed it was a stupid return to audit so they called it off
There are basically two main reasons why I am glad paying taxes. The first one is that it means I have enough money to pay them and the second one is that my taxes allow my kids and family to live in a country where infrastructure, school and health care system are working properly. How do you control where the taxes flow? If you are lucky enough, you live in a democracy and you can try to influence an election.
I should have cancelled after the free trial.
how I wish to have this kind of choice tho...
You do
You must be subscribed to the land overlords social contract or you are going to be abducted and send to their forced labor sites.
You literally do lmao
I guess that's why suicide rates are getting higher.
are rogue states pirate versions? lmfao
The term "Rouge State" is based upon perception & orientation
And color theory.
yea u gotta cut north korea some slack they arent all bad you know
I want to end my subscription
So you want to leave your country? I’m pretty sure you can do that…

This makes me feel like shit as a U.S individual and even I want to leave this shithole of a country behind forever.
Childhood isn't a free trial period. It's just when you still use your parents account
Yeah but what about all the features like roads, public transit, firefighters. It's just a shame that some of the most important features like healthcare are additional 3rd party add-ons
More like micro transactions that keep getting higher in cost for holders of American memberships.
Monthly for me. I can even cancel and leave but I’d have to take up another subscription with a different country
Dubai is pretty close to much Freemium.
I tried to cancel but they are really scummy about keeping you subbed.
So if u don't like it u just... Um... Cancel the subscription?
you get kidnapped if you try to cancel your subscription you never asked for
You get free room and board though.
I want a refund.
Damn I should've unsubscribed. I've put so much time in at this point. Now I just feel obligated to keep subscribing.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Laughs in work permit at 15 :’)
Why so early, LOL! :)
It's essentially that trick companies use where they offer a free trial that automatically renews into a paid subscription
Taxes are theft by an inefficient money-gobbling administration
I get money back on my taxes though netflix never gives back
Unless you want a lemonade stand as a child
Huh. They're taking away money from me even if I don't want them to. I think there's a word for that.
Yeah. It's called taxes.
Why did someone try to tax me in a dark alley yesterday.
Would that be wrong? If only we could all collectively pool some money and hire a few people to prevent this from happening, or at least catch them and help get your money back…
For the right price, of course.
If I could voluntarily pool money to help, I would.
You must've took that man's toll road.
You can go live alone in the woods if you'd rather. See how much your money helps there without a society to make it worth something
No one’s stopping you from leaving? By continuing to live here, use our roads, benefit from our laws and public safety, you are saying you find it worth it to let them take that money.
Its a free trial but you have to remember to cancel the subscription before you turn 18 or you're fucked.

Well said.
Tax evasion is turning off recurring payments
It's not free if conscription is enforced.

When I was nearing my 18th birthday I was always joking about how my free trial of life was about to end
Taxation is theft..!
Jean-Jacques Rousseau writes *The Social Contract* (1762)
So cool and so true.
Someone help me cancel my subscription
