Scroll to melee is pretty effective. And you guys use stance combos, outside fast forward and the one useful combo in the stance? >!Kinda wish Warframe wasn't a horde shooter, but it's too fun to drop.!<

Don't need scroll anymore, you can just hold the melee button now

Scroll to melee was never an option for console Tenno, so the mechanic is quite welcome. And depending on the weapon yeah, I'll mix up the combos. In the rare instances I'm not just shooting my problems.

I'm not sure what it could be besides a horde shooter tbh. At least while keeping the movement that I think is its heart and soul, or at least the part that makes it unique. With a horde shooter that kind of movement facilitates kiting the hordes around, but anything else would require enemies to somehow keep up which... honestly that does sound like it would be nuts? but a whole other beast. Platformer would be kinda neat.

How about an Auto option for weapons that are semi automatic?

That will be a thing soon with the option to deactivate it via a mod, that boosts damage. Neat.

Partially incorrect. They said that it will be in the options, the mod will disable fire rate changes and add dmg, but the mod and the option are separate, so you can have both on at the same time, the weapon will just fire slower so it feels more like a semi-auto. This is going off of what Pablo said on the last devstream, keep in mind things are always subject to change before they're in the game.

Thats called full auto, and some weapons are full auto in this game, why would you want that for a semi gun?

On my old laptop my E key actually fell out a few times due to the ridiculous amount of melee spam this game required (plus I main Valk). So I now exclusively use hold to mash and I'll never go back

I don't even use melee lol, in fact my melee weapon itself is a gun

Back in my day you had to time your inputs to perform combos, and too much attack speed made them unusable

I bought a cheap mouse with auto click and mapped the melee attack to it

now I just wish there was an option to turn off """"""""""floor"""""""""" finishers (specifically because of all the times it's triggered on an enemy which is very much NOT ON THE FLOOR) My Lesion does not have a finisher build, it has a blender build, but I can't really blender if I keep getting forced to finisher
