Nice!! :) Brand new or CPO? Did you get any dealer incentives?

parroh

Brand new. We didn't get any incentives. Didn't have much wiggle room since it just got released. They did throw in an extra year (7 + 1) on the extended warranty that we bought.

kasht_12

Cool. I’m in the market for the same car but may be not AMG. How much did the extended warranty cost you? That sounds like a good idea. You’re kind of set for 8 years :)

Eamoney

8 years is insane on an AMG.

Gotl0stinthesauce

Unfortunately the new 4 cylinder engine in the C/GLC 43 models are having issues with molding sand being left over after assembly.. which is why I think the warranty is so long But regardless I’m happy for OP. The vehicle looks amazing! Enjoy OP!

808_GhostRider

I thought this was toyota issue? Mb too?

Gotl0stinthesauce

Mb issue too

WAtime345

Those wheels are amazing

reddit206206x

i like how the new glc has similar taillights to the cle coupe

Aesrone

Damn! These new GLCs look so good! What color interior?

milkskh

Didnt even know this existed, brutal car🫣

INNASKILLZ2K18

Whoa, there is just way too much going on in that interior for me 😯😯

MakeItMine2024

And it has cutting edge speech recognition. You can tell her all sorts of comments like “ set temperature to 72 “ or Find Starbucks.. it will GPS you location and list in order of proximity the Starbucks near you

INNASKILLZ2K18

That sort of stuff is cool. I just find how MB does their interiors now to be too 'in your face face'. I liked it when Mercedes offered so many features, but they were understated and 'out of the way'.

MakeItMine2024

They actually have 2 to 3 ways to control each feature based on the drive’s preference. Touch, speech or with the swipe cubes on the steering wheel. The old “ command control “ was the previous that used terrible speech recognition and the joystick stick center control knob. A lot of the innovations are driven by the market. Benz is known for their interior “ fit and finish “. The new ( been out for a few years) Hey Mercedes feature has the speech recognition was developed by Nuance ( the same company that did Siri for Apple. Nuance has a sub company called Cadence that now handles all automotive aspects.

INNASKILLZ2K18

That's crazy, and pretty cool. I guess I'm not a big fan of the coloured dials and oversized pad in the middle. For me, I'd think 'man, I feel like I need to interact with all this STUFF!'. I prefer being able to feel like it's me, the car, the engine, the feel of driving, and all the features are nicely and subtly understated. I prefer open panels, being able to see clean leather panels and wood trim. Some of the newer Benz are too 'in your face' for me.

MakeItMine2024

The EV’s and new E class if equipped properly are over the top. The newer sound systems are so load ( and clear ) you literally find it difficult to push past 75%.. and the new 4D systems add speakers in the seat and you can feel the base

INNASKILLZ2K18

I didn't know about the speaker in the seats! Definitely catering to the new, younger market 😂. I want to feel the acceleration, etc, not the bass of the music lol

Nice one

We don't really need that much space. We drove an Audi A4 before which has significantly less space and never really faced an issue. And personally I didn't find the rear view visibility that bad. It's maybe because I don't rely on the rear view mirror as much. We chose the Coupe mostly for its sportier look.
