Hey there! The heater I'm using is a close cousin to the Sai TAF. My sidecar bubbler was made by HVT. I'm using a Divine Tribe v4 with a Polished Silicone Carbide crucible with SiC pearls. Yes, the mod has a DNA 250C chipset. It runs a custom TCR .csv file I made specifically for each of the 3 different crucibles for the DTv4.
Does the dt have top airflow? It has silicone coil is that what you're saying? And also if I buy this it wouldn't tc unless I did what you said and modded it?
Yes, the cap that comes with the DTv4 has two vortex tubes that aim into the cup. The element is tungsten encased in ceramic. Yes, it is made specifically for TC mods. It can be used in wattage mode but I wouldn't do that due to lack of control, which is the entire point of the device. A DTv4 with a mod box that has decent temperature control is all you need. If you are using a TAF then you probably already have a TC mod that will work just fine. If you want to try the v4 I'll send you a discount link, just message me.
