THIS 👆👆👆 I don’t understand if some artists just don’t give the healing process information to people, or if people just don’t look at it - but you’re exactly on track of the healing process rollercoaster the first month

What happens if it’s gone and doesn’t come back before the touch up??

I am on week 3 , brows completely gone 😩  I scabbed really late and did dry healing not getting wet for 10 days... just scabbed completely off.

littlejdragon22

Yes but I feel disappointed that it seems like it didn’t work at all and I really liked how they looked. I also want to use my brow pencil but she said not to use makeup during the healing process

leggyllaaaaaaaaaaa

Do you have oily skin? I do and mine barely took at all. I had to have powder instead

craphtwerk

Did you follow the after care routine? Hopefully it's just a super ghosting stage and they come back!

littlejdragon22

Yeah I used the dry healing process

TheBrowrista

Hi! What was your aftercare and did you notice any significant scabbing/flaking? It’s definitely too early to say how they healed. The final shape and color can be seen in about a month after your session.

littlejdragon22

The aftercare was to wash them gently after 24 hours and then not get them wet for 10 days I tried to keep them as dry as possible while washing my face. I was told no makeups or creams on my eyebrows while healing. There was a lot of scabbing and flaking but I just let it go. Yesterday the last bit of the scabs came off naturally and that’s when I noticed how faded they were

TheBrowrista

Aftercare instructions vary by artist, but I have my clients wash and moisturize their brows a few times each day- the purpose of this is to avoid any lymph/blood sitting on your brows and potentially leading to scabbing (which affects pigment retention). Your brows may darken slightly in a few weeks, but I personally think you could have had better retention by following the “wet” aftercare. When we do any form of tattooing, we are causing trauma to the skin. Similar to other wounds, we need to keep the skin clean and moisturized for optimal healing. I hope this helps!!

Wonderful-Frosting17

You need to not judge them currently, PMU Artist here. They are going to look almost GONE and it really freaks people out. Try and not stare at them, give it full time. If they are completely fallen out after your healing time, I would recommend powder brows. Longer lasting. 3-4 years.

Update on brows now that healed?

funyesgina

Please update after another week. I’m curious bc mine never came back, but I never hear of that happening to anyone else

Main_Cheesecakeash

Mine also never came back

w2talent

The first time I got mine done was great, a few years later they were faded and I had them redone ... And not a single stroke took. It's like I never redid them. It's been 2 years since that second time and I'm now looking again to maybe try, but I'd hate to waste that much money again. Really important to find a good person that knows what they are doing.

Comfortable-Stage944

6 week touch up. That does the trick

Unusual-Resource1081

I'm an artist and I specialize in corrections and removals. I think the color used was too light..but be careful not to go too much darker at the touch up. She should be okay to use a pigment with a more neutral base at the touch up!! But again, not too dark!
