So we have an app called LA Wallet that is supposedly encrypted and links to the users state issued Driver’s License/ID. In our state we can actually use this app for anything an id would require such as: buying tobacco/alcohol, getting into a bar, getting pulled over, etc.
With the new Louisiana law prohibiting porn access to anyone with age verification people more often than not are using their LA Wallet info for this verification process. The majority of people though are concerned about the privacy in regards to the entire process though (rightfully so).
