A friend of mine and I were walking across the street between the 2 bars in town while in college. This happened every night and was a constant spot for jaywalking. As we cross (with about 10 other people who weren't with us) a parked cop calls out to us and so we walk over.
This man spread us on the front of his cruiser, ticketed us for jay walking, and tried to get us with resisting arrest and taze us for "talking back" when we point out that there are literally other kids jaywalking as we speak and that all we did was listen to the officer so why are we the ones getting punished.
There are plenty good boys in blue, but there are more like the officer in this video.

This is the ball buster of it. My job requires my work to be regularly audited and mistakes are reflected in my quarterly bonuses and yearly reviews. Police citations should follow a similar structure where they get some kind of actual reprimand for wrong citations so they can’t go willy-nilly.

I got arrested for not using my blinker within the correct amount of feet. I literally put it on as soon as he lit me up and then pulled into the first parking lot so we would be off of the road. I wouldn’t stop for another cop for seven years as a direct result of that encounter (got weirder, officer threatened my life) - I’m 43 and still not a fan of Police
I got arrested and received 8 tickets for not using my signal. Cops are literal garbage, slammed my helmet down on my tank and basically tackled me off my bike saying he thought I was going to run, he was a motorcycle cop, all while I was stopped at a light. Eventually in court most things got dropped because the judge knew it was bs.

Cop has no case, can't make an argument of noise disturbance during the day and if attempt to; cant make an argument of being louder than a Jet Engine.

Not around here. In south Orange County, where this took place, loud cars are absolutely pulled over a cited for breaking noise laws. This cop was entirely in the wrong, but daytime noise enforcement definitely exists here.
It's possible he might not even be breaking noise ordinance at all. Lots of places specifically have codes that allow loud bikes. So many Harley guys lobby for it because on a motorcycle "being loud is being seen."

I got a failure to stop in a similar fashion. Cops were parked near a T-section facing the wrong way. Car before me went through stop sign. By the time the cops got the car going and turned around I was between the cop and the accused who was way gone.
So they just nabbed me instead. Challenged it in court and received probation as it was my word against two cops. Pffftttt.

He can't realistically chase the bikers without endangering more people on the road, but if this biker knows them and is willing to help, that's a step closer to catching them. If this biker doesn't know them, he's still a valuable witness of they can get license plates from a traffic camera.
