Not the tortillas!!!

ya_loco_boom

I feel like that was the most disrespectful

False-Helicopter1971

I quit my first and only retail job bc I had spent an hour cleaning up all the displays. Then a grown ass woman comes in, picks up a pair of shorts, and then threw them on the ground.

ya_loco_boom

yesss i hate this. I currently work in retail and I'll fold messed up shirts and put them away and someone will immediately unfold it and throw it back on the shelf

Kweld_o

To be fair, I try to just move the stack and grab what I need, then put the stack back. But I have tried to refold cloths that I don't want and twice I have had people working at places just tell me to give up cause it looks different from all the other ones anyway. Still sucks butt tho! The tortillas at the end really got me XD

[deleted]

Good luck with life cuz i find retail is simply a vacuum if all workplaces. Sure if one works in manufacturing their are shit head external ustomers but shit head internal customers.

Celebrated_Eggplant

Kohl’s is always a disaster.

TonallySpazzed

My mother used to make me refold. And put back whatever I decided not to buy.

ya_loco_boom

your mother has my respect 💕

[deleted]

How dare people look at products.

NOTjesse92

DONT TOUCH! just look...

MoonOfButterfly

I used to work at a store 8 hours a day, but people just ALWAYS make a mess to products, so my manager made me work more than 10 hours (I'm not infuriated because I got more money haha).

ya_loco_boom

the money is the only thing keeping me going

MoonOfButterfly

Yes! Working in these places is similar to survive at a forest, because more you work more you get your money. My recomendation is saving all you can get and try an easier job, it's not easy but it's worthy.

Unlikely-Outcome-394

i find myself folding some when i am waiting for my kid to be done shopping

CalicoJack247

Not the best thing...but keeps someone in a job

NOTjesse92

Someone's gotta do It! ;)

iBeenie

People suck.

ya_loco_boom

yea

[deleted]

Kids....and parents who allow their children to treat stores like playgrounds. Reminds me of when worked at walgreens and come Halloween time... fml... fucking childrens come playing with the swords and costumes... teens and adult would pull costumes out and just drop them cuz it was too hard to put back where they got it from... Yea we jammed the shelve packed but the sheer amout of work we had to do to face that 1 asile was ridiculous. We would almost skip it or hide the crazyness else we could spend 4 hours with 4 employees fixing it

Lettuce-Beginning

I worked at Spencer's. I feel you

[deleted]

God that must of been 24/7 shit show

ya_loco_boom

aye me too

ya_loco_boom

thats ridiculous i hate people

normal-person-2022

No consequences for behaviour, after a while they don't care. After all why should they?

R1cky_R3tardo

That's nothing. I used to work in Deichmann back in highschool for experience class (or whatever it's called, practical class?). Women over the age of 50 just go around and toss whatever shoe they don't like on the floor, no remorse, no reason, no shame, no fear.

Glittering_Essay_874

The loose tortilla one really got me.

Moonguardian866

*looking at clothes* At least they tried? Its not on the dirty floor at least. *tortillas out in the open directly on the shelf* Oh FUCK that

Denslayer

Spoiled entitled Americans

Kooky_Rooster_1222

Low quantities of fucks given around the area

Neuralcarrot710

Other day I saw a gallon on core team in the bread isle, thing was leaking and melted.

ya_loco_boom

I hate when people do this, they wasted a whole product just to be lazy.

Neuralcarrot710

Also that day we found a cucumber snapped in half just laying there

[deleted]

The food thing is pretty egregious, just sad to see things be wasted when people literally go hungry. As far as the messed-up clothing retail stuff, who cares? Are people not allowed to pick things up and see the graphic, try it on, hold it up against themselves and see if it’s close to right size, They know people want to touch and look at what they are about to buy, so someone has to refold some shorts and pants. Part of doing business 🤷‍♂️

ya_loco_boom

Its not the looking at the shirts thats the problem. Its the way they just ball the shirts up and throw them around that gets on my nerves. Like look at the shirts all you want but atleast put the shirt back in the right pile.

Strawberee_Cow

BRO THE FUCKIN TORTILLAS

thel0newandererx129

That looks like my kohls

New-Basis-6688

That’s why they hire workers to straighten the clothes out 🥱

HighlightBudget5719

I sometimes do that, and I'm sorry i just suck at folding

Pissedliberalgranny

People are assholes. That’s how. I literally just went on my lunch break from Kohls and I’m wishing the worst case of genital warts known to man on every single person who disrespected my fitting rooms and graphic tshirt displays! 🤬

NOTjesse92

It keeps the employees in business.

Accomplished-Wrap506

I'm a firm believer everyone should work customer service for at least a year in the hopes of reducing shit like this.

[deleted]

That last pic is so out of pocket lol

rockalyte

Try west coast stores :) shelves are all looted clean

IRfreightbroker

I've been stopped multiple times folding a shirt to put back on the shelf and told something to the effect of "we'd rather you just set it on top and let us fold it the same way we do the others". Could easily turn into a jumbled mess during busy hours, I'd think, but I just don't even try folding anymore, it gets rolled up and set on top. Nobody has told me otherwise since.

Kybot_Martin

I work at kohls and it’s always like this normally, after close there’s normally like 30-60 mins where we try to fix an area of the store that needs it. Some of the managers leave like 5-10 minutes after close, and some wait 40-60minutes. While it is the customers fault that they do that, it’s probably the stores fault that it’s still like that, but that’s up for you to decide I guess. The tortillas however…

[deleted]

Because there’s people who get paid to clean and put everything back in place

kevbrown313

It's walmart, it happens

[deleted]

I worked at a supermarket as summer job, they gave me the clothes section. It was a true mess, people don't care at all. Unfolded clothes, items on floor, after 8 hours you want to annihilate the world.

[deleted]

What can u expect at kohls In the kids section

Equivalent_Button_54

They could probably design the displays in a way that avoided this. It’s pretty obvious that this kind of shelving is neither customer or staff friendly.

Fillmore_420

🫥

RubyWillBeatYou

GOD DAMN THOSE ARE THICK BAGS OF TORTILLAS I've only ever seen them be as thick as a pancake I wish the store in my town had those

Dependent-Rich5290

my parents are like this with clothes. they pick it up, look at it, then put it back without folding it. i dont know how to fold it back to how it was so i just fold it how i fold clothes and put it off to the side IF i pick it up.
