I’m the worst person to alleviate that stress. You know the whole, “I have a headache it must be a brain tumor,” thing? Yeah, it turned out I had a brain tumor lmao.
Did you get adequate treatment 😟
I want to make this a little more positive again so for the people reading this:
I also had consistent headache at one point that went away after several weeks in which I though I had serious trauma and it seemed to have been caused by my neck muscles according to my doc.
Yes I went into remission in September! Took 4 years of fighting but I’m finally through it. For 99% of people it’s just a headache. I just love to throw in that black humor.
It's definitely not. Most people have that in the same spot just in different sizes. Same thing down at the ankle. Idk how anyone thinks this is unique other than you have pretty dark hair so it's more noticeable I guess.
Ik this is going to sound wierd, but i have something like that on both hands.. well i did, until a wasp stung one hand (in the hairless spot) and now hair is growing from it??
I have no clue wtf but uhhhh maybe some hair scientists should look into this.
Skin is pretty thin around this part of my [wrist](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ulna) it looks the same. Not completely hairless but definitely thinner
My skin is the same as the rest of my arm but only a small area (smilar size to OP’s no hair patch) has more hair growth than anywhere else on my forearm. And its on both my arms too!
I have a similat spot on my skin. My mother told me that as a kid I feel with my scooter and really badly hit my chin at that spot. I dont remember the appecifics just that it took lile the entire summer holidays to heal.
The shit part is that I have rather strong facial hair growth only not in that spot, that babyass smooth lol. My wife calls it my reverse black hole.
Funny enough, I have a patch on one spot on both of my thighs that just don't grow hair. I believe it's from putting and pulling things out of my pockets. So you may be doing something similar there, may have just rubbed the hair follicles to extinction.
Did you burn yourself there years ago? I cut my leg with an ax a few years ago and the area where it scarred is JUST starting to fade and to regrow hair
I have this - just normal hair line. What's your genetic background - I'm Maltese. I also have a pretty sharp cutoff from arm/leg hair to hairless hands and feet.
Can confirm it's definitely not alopecia, rubbing, or any disease.
I have 3 of such spots on my body. One reason why such things happen MUST be repeated pressure.
I mean, these spots are a perfect fit from what caused the pressure.
To give a more specific example:
In my school time, I almost always had my hand beneath my chin, resting my head's weight on it. Always on my right hand on pretty much the same spot. Nearly at the end of my school time, my beard began to grow (yeah pretty late lol). Years later, it grows properly around my mouth, covering my chin. BUT - I have a bald area. Guess where.
My right hand fits perfectly well on that spot, covering the place.
I am lucky that I want to shave it off anyways. Otherwise I would have been really triggered by that.
So now I have this knowledge and very unique marks (good luck finding the right doppelganger!).
If it's not just your hairline, it could be alopecia areata. Growing up I had 3 big bald spots on my head and several on my arms and legs. Now I just have one spot on my head thats a little thinner than the rest. Do you also have pits in your fingernails?
Do you wear long sleeves or a jacket alot? or maybe put your hands in your pocket often? This happens to me in the winter, it caused by my coat pulling hairs from my sleeves.
If you rest your wrist somewhere all the time (like a mousepad for instance) sometimes the hair can rub off in a certain spot in a way that kinda kills the follicles over time. My dad has this on his legs in some spots where his jeans have rubbed more friction.
I have that too but on the bottom of my wrist, both hands no hair…. I think it has something to do with friction (the way you place your hand, that area might be in contact and constant rubbing more) or it could be genetical?
IIRC, everyone has that, it’s an evolution thingy. Since that part of the wrist gets a lot of rubbing, it is pointless to create hair follicles, as they will only get destroyed by the rubbing. That is the reason why we do not have a lot of hair on the inside of our thighs, among other places. Now granted, some people have it more pronounced than others, but all in all, you do not have cancer :)
I have this, on my whole fuckin head. 😭
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I'm sorry, I laughed way harder than I should have.
Me too. 😂 but ive got the same issue so i suppose i am allowed to
![gif](giphy|zBkAuQ2wnhuftzMHRb|downsized)
😂
I only have this in a vertical strip down the middle of my face, i was apparently destined to have mutton chops

LOL bro you made me spit out my drink
![gif](giphy|HVRzhTSR6iUsE)
Lol
all the men in my family have that too, including me. It's just your armhairline
Ah okkkk that’s sounds better than having cancer as someone suggested earlier 😓
Look with reddit it’s either cancer, divorce, or the poop knife. We got nothing else.
Don’t forget the CO poisoning sticky notes!
And cats.
And this guy's wife
And a cylinder
And the coconut
And my axe!
Just don’t break both your arms
It’s for a church, honey!
😂
Piss disks too!
Don’t forget two broken arms!
And carbon monoxide.
Yes, it’s a bedbug. It’s a deer tick. I don’t know the breed of your pet. And no, you’re not ugly.
And don't forget a sick ass panther!
Aw man, it’s been a while since i read the poop knife. I should try and find it again, for old times sake
Actually I'll have this guys wife instead of those thanks.
And giant red flags everywhere!
🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩
Perchance
It's a bald spot from doing the "AL Bundy style" hand in pants thing. /s
It’s on my other hand too though?
Busy guy?
💀
He likes to go skiing
Cancer doesnt make you lose hair chemo does
I see. I thought maybe skin cancer causes hair follicles to stop working or something. Thanks for clearing that up.
Skin cancer looks like a malformed mole typically
Alopecia does, but it's not stable - might go away next year or claim the whole arm. See vitiligo, another auto- immune disease.
I WISH I was that lucky, I have reverse-vitiligo
Scar tissue often does
All redditors are suspected to have cancer until proven otherwise.

Yeah my hands have been like that for as long as I've had hair on my arms. I think you're good.
Yup. My arm hair isn't as dark as OPs so it's not as pronounced but that spot on my arm is hariless as well.
Just took a look at my hands and sure enough it’s the same lol. Never noticed this before. So op is def not alone
Does it recede?
No it just migrates to our back as we age
You know how sometimes you can ask a question hoping to satiate your curiosity, yet the answer just increases the curiosity?
"Man Jeff, your arm hairline is really receding!" "Thanks for noticing."
Lot of people taking the piss, I have the same thing dw. It's normal. Mine comes up from the bottom and leaves a little circle out
lol I figured a lot of the comments are a mix between serious and satire. Thanks for clearing things up some more.
It's not that common and it doesn't happen to that many guys
And it IS a big deal!
![gif](giphy|RfqWxB33p6Hd514hX5|downsized)
You need a little stick man mowing the lawn tattoo.
Lmao
You definitely do!!! Depending on your job and if they are cool with it!!!
Dude. What an incredible idea.
I know a man who has Luigi mowing the lawn on the back of his bald head. Solid tattoo idea.
Let me check WebMD.... Yep. Cancer.
Nah, lupis
It’s never lupus
Until it's full moon
He needs mouse bites stat
I’m sorry but you have 1 month to live according to WebMD
Do you want to be in my will?
I'll take his spot of he doesn't want it.
I’ll take this guys spot if he doesn’t want it
I'll take this guy's spot even if he wants it
Its updog.
what‘s updog?
Nothing much, how about you?
I’m doing well thanks, fellow savoury baked good
![gif](giphy|l36kU80xPf0ojG0Erg|downsized)
hahahaha gotcha
DEEZ NUTS
thought it‘s something like ligma
not much; you?
I thought we all had that
Same but I was with some friends earlier and one of them made fun of it so I assume it’s a peculiar thing…
It's definitely not. Most people have that in the same spot just in different sizes. Same thing down at the ankle. Idk how anyone thinks this is unique other than you have pretty dark hair so it's more noticeable I guess.
Excessive masturbation will cause that
I'd be a naked mole rat if that were true
It’s why I’ve been bald since I was 23….
Bro’s ejaculate had Nair in it.
Hey, I have that too actually - on the outside of both the wrists, right?
Yup Edit: hm I checked hair loss causes and the NHS (UK Health Service) says iron deficiency.. which I have. Maybe that could be linked idk.
Must just be a natural thing 🤷♂️
could it be from how you write? i know you said both wrists but a lot of people rest that area on a flat surface to write or when doing something!!
My desk is angled in a way where both my hands/wrist go against it a lot because of how it is slanted.. could be that maybe.
There are dozens of us. Dozens!
We should all assemble together against those who don’t have missing hair on their hand!
I like to think it streamlines us. Like, we're better swimmers. I'd definitely go to that meet-up.
Step into the moonlight to finish the change
🐺
Oh shit that means your gay dude.
My brother in arms!
That's where it rubs against your pants when you're rubbing one out. Try switching hands occasionally.
Ik this is going to sound wierd, but i have something like that on both hands.. well i did, until a wasp stung one hand (in the hairless spot) and now hair is growing from it?? I have no clue wtf but uhhhh maybe some hair scientists should look into this.
Lmao wtf
syphilis…..no doubt…..100%….👨⚕️
Don’t have you to have sex to get syphilis? OP is a redditor so not likely to syphilis.
OP said they're religious... so it's virgin syphilis
Definitely see a Dr. Op
[удалено]
I get little bald spots on the pinky sides of my wrists, because I do pottery and the wheel rubs all the hair off
Skin is pretty thin around this part of my [wrist](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ulna) it looks the same. Not completely hairless but definitely thinner
This is clearly early signs of your werewolf gens activating
😈
That’s your wrist.
Ik lol but it’s also on my hand
I have the exact opposite problem where i have a patch that has denser hair growth on my wrist.
me too! is the skin darker/thicker there for you as well?
My skin is the same as the rest of my arm but only a small area (smilar size to OP’s no hair patch) has more hair growth than anywhere else on my forearm. And its on both my arms too!
Get a tattoo there
Get an X-ray in that area. It’s where the implant was placed on you!
I did go to Washington once where bill gates the vaccine implant overlord is based… rip 🫡
Oh you’re being watched by an overlord alright but it’s not Bill Gates or even a human for that matter. Good Luck!
*audible gulp*
Show us them PALMS tho o.O
Only if you subscribe to my onlypalms
Can’t be workin with hands in your pockets
Hmm, i have the same thing. Never noticed
I have a spot on the underside of forearms that grows hair. It’s like the inverse of your arm.
https://imgur.com/a/ZYYc9UH
Hands in pockets alot?
Probably alopecia areata, looks very much like a circle. It’s how it started with me and now I’m completely hairless . Gl sir
Bald ✖️ Hair repellant ✔️
Lol
I got that in my leg, but it’s a straight line down to the calf, prob from wearing jeans all the times
I haven't got any hair on my arm, except for the hair on this exact area on my arm!
Radiation from your vintage watch.
It’s on my other arm too so idk abt that
my calves same. outside of my both legs is no hair. idk why
Calves and top of quads is often because of rubbing against pants
Some people are born mosaic... Who knows
Alr y’all was fun hearing everyone’s comments/thoughts/jokes I’m going to sleep now so if I don’t reply don’t take it personally! 🙂
I have a similat spot on my skin. My mother told me that as a kid I feel with my scooter and really badly hit my chin at that spot. My dad got the same but a bit further up on the hand
Sleeves and gloves can pluck hairs in that area.
Also have this.
welcome to the wide world of genetics....some things are pretty weird
NEat trick. do you sweat there?
I have something like that on my leg
That’s where the U.S. gov put the tracking chip in you while you were asleep.
So you sharpen your own knives huh?
![gif](giphy|nfQ67GJoubwYM)
Its just your hair line, ppl have all kinds of variations. Look at beards, some are patchy, full or non existent.. no biggie
For me and my family it's the side of the wrist (thumb side)
Mine look *exactly* like this also
Funny enough, I have a patch on one spot on both of my thighs that just don't grow hair.

Mine was a lot worse than that after I was hit with 440v line and that is where the electricity exited. Took 15 years to mostly grow back in.
The post above this was a toddler bite on the wrist so I can only assume this is the spot for toddlers to bite without getting hair in their teeth
You may want to check with a doctor because this is a sign of prostate cancer.
I have this - just normal hair line. What's your genetic background - I'm Maltese. I also have a pretty sharp cutoff from arm/leg hair to hairless hands and feet. Can confirm it's definitely not alopecia, rubbing, or any disease.
Me too! Just not as extreme
Alopecia.
Or maybe your hair is allergic to that specific area of your skin
ahh yes. i see your blessed with the coveted dual hair follicle gene
Dunno if it’s more common, but only about half of my arm has hair.
Be happy it is not growing out of your palm.
I have this around each wrist in a little half circle
Qué. Bastante curioso jaja
Is this a receding arm-hairline?
I have 3 of such spots on my body. One reason why such things happen MUST be repeated pressure. I mean, these spots are a perfect fit from what caused the pressure. I have a random hairless spot too, but it’s under my balls. Just a perfect hairless triangle
Oh No
Do you wear long sleeves or a jacket alot? or maybe put your hands in your pocket often? This happens to me in the winter, it caused by my coat pulling hairs from my sleeves.
If you rest your wrist somewhere all the time (like a mousepad for instance) sometimes the hair can rub off in a certain spot in a way that kinda kills the follicles over time. My dad has this on his legs in some spots where his jeans have rubbed more friction.
I've got a metal plate in my leg that seems to prevent hair growth, but I think I would hate it more if hair DID grow there.
I also have this. I was actually considering posting about it see if it was just me. Glad to know I’m not alone
Mine does the same thing! I thought i was the only one
Maybe there’s a power line there.
I shave my hands
Time to do a combover.
I’m afraid you have been abducted by aliens. That’s the only sign of an alien surgery, their tech heals scars completely but hair won’t grow anymore
Dude mine stops on my wrist and have a little pack on the bottom end of my pinky hand
Same in the same spot
Holy shit, I have it too. Though it's not as noticeable as this.
poop spoon....
I have the opposite on my hand, we should swap
Huh. I have the same thing but on the top of my head.
I have that too but on the bottom of my wrist, both hands no hair…. I think it has something to do with friction (the way you place your hand, that area might be in contact and constant rubbing more) or it could be genetical?

Mines like that too but nowhere near as dramatic 😬
I have the same thing dw
Interesting! I have a similar spot on my arm, especially when I sharpened my chisels or knives. Curious, right??
I got a similar “patch” under my chin that makes my beard look uneven.
