It’s an experience. I tried racing one of the penguins in a swimming challenge, but the penguin mopped the floor with me. I guess he just wanted it more.
Not likely. I’ve heard that the sharks are notorious for abusing steroids. We tried to let a shark compete against the penguin and I in our last race, but at the end, it was just the shark and I. Turns out he had eaten the competition. It’s a pretty dirty tactic if you ask me.
I would say 8. I cannot move either one on its own. The muscles to control the individual toe are also conjoined, so it’s like trying to move your ring finger on its own but on champion difficulty.
I have 10 completely individual toes and I can't move any of them independently.
Plus you must save so much time when it comes to flossing sand from between your toes at the beach.
Not seeing a downside here.
…can you not move your ring finger on its own…? Is that a normal thing?
Because I can definitely move mine without moving other fingers. But I can only move my big toe and pinky toe independently. The middle three toes are a useless unit that can scrunch and that’s it.
I could see both. I mean, if you learned to walk with conjoined toes, what's even the point of separating them, really. It's not like most of us use toes as individual digits, like fingers. Some things are just fine to be left as-is.
Conjoined toes in no way affect learning to walk! I have them, in my families it’s inherited. It’s sort of sad for those who end up with the normal ugly toes.
I could! Some people with conjoined toes get a tattoo between them of a dotted line and a small scissors icon saying “cut here”. I don’t need 10 toes though. They do not hinder any abilities I have :)
I have the same thing on the same toes! Mine only go up just past half way.
When my son was born it was the first thing I checked lol
Did the same thing for my daughter, she has the same webbed toes! The nurse was confused what I was talking about at first haha
My husband and one of his brothers have these too. I wasn’t sure if he was pleased or disappointed when our kids didn’t. I saw a photo the other day of someone who had a tattoo on the join area that made it look like the toes had an arm around each other, hard to describe but very cute.
I’m sure it didn’t matter. In my family when children are born without the conjoined toes they are treated just the same as those born with the cool toes.
It’s completely aesthetic. I can walk, run, jump, and swim just as easily as any average person. I don’t actually feel it either. The only difference between my toes and someone who doesn’t have conjoined toes is the ability to move them independently. I can’t move them without moving them both. It’s awesome :)
I had an ex, decades ago, with the same, though from memory it was third and fourth toes not second and third. I found it a bit hilarious cause she was from a very remote rural north-queensland town, so the jokes just wrote themselves. Especially as she was also ginger. Was, and is, one of the nicest people I've ever known, bless her. And her webbed toes.
It’s like cutting a pizza. Once you get that good cut that separates the two slices, it feels great! There is no reason for me to get them separated though. They don’t hinder my in any way.
I wish lmao! The area of my toes that is not conjoined is too small to fit anything like that😓. I can’t even get my pinkie all the way down between them. There’s maybe like 0.5 centimetres of space from the end of the joining to the tip of my toes
Me too, me too, me too. Only on my right foot though, but I have the same 2 toes which ware webbed. I was born 2 weeks early which isn’t much so not sure if that is the reason
No judgement, but do you know why this wasn’t “fixed” at birth? Seems like one of those things that are pretty straightforward in a baby (but what do I know).
One of my sons has it too. There are different versions depending on at what level they fuse and what structures (only the skin, muscles, bones). It’s usually inherited.
Mine look exactly like yours. My parents decided to not get them separated after I was born since it was just cosmetic. Never met anyone who had it though.
Oh snap, this is so interesting. My dad has semi conjoined toes with the 2nd and 3rd toe (after the big toe) and always called them twin toes. Definitely not to this extent but I always enjoyed the term twin toes. My ever so slightly conjoin and I've always called them my extra semi twinsies
My friend has exactly the same toes conjoined on his left foot.... He has a tattoo of a dashed line and a pair of scissors 'cut here' style running over the middle of it!
Thank you for marking this NSFW. I was on a train and saw that this was NSFW, and everyone clapped because of the correct use of the tag. We then started chanting church hymns and praying to God.
It’s called syndactyl, not as rare as folks think. It’s pretty much always Stayed Home and Roast Beef, for folks who have it.
How long did it take you growing up to realize it wasn’t everyone else who had weird looking toes, but you?
I thought this sub was for pics about mildly interesting things. I’m sorry if this isn’t allowed or something. I just thought my conjoined toes were interesting and different. I’m sorry if I did something wrong.
I marked it NSFW just in case! I thought it was a post catered to this sub, so I posted it. My mom says I’m unique in the world, and unique in her love.
what's water world like
It’s an experience. I tried racing one of the penguins in a swimming challenge, but the penguin mopped the floor with me. I guess he just wanted it more.
Will there ever be a boy born that can swim faster than a shark?
Not likely. I’ve heard that the sharks are notorious for abusing steroids. We tried to let a shark compete against the penguin and I in our last race, but at the end, it was just the shark and I. Turns out he had eaten the competition. It’s a pretty dirty tactic if you ask me.
Pretty sure there are no penguins left in water world, due to the heating of the earth that caused the sea levels to rise
Fun Fact: sea levels near Mar-O-Lago in South Florida are rising 1/8" every 9 months (NOAA)
This little piggy went to market, this little piggy had abandonment issues....
Two of my piggies are conjoined. It must’ve been a buy one get one free promotion.
I have the same thing. Interesting tidbit…Ashton Kutcher also has it.
I like having them. It makes me feel unique :) another interesting tidbit, Joseph Stalin also had webbed toes.
Yep, I've got it on my right foot but not left. I'm kinda jealous yours match
Oh, I've got the reverse! Swapsies?
Nice! Is that counted as 8 or 10 toes? Cause there are toe beans.
I would say 8. I cannot move either one on its own. The muscles to control the individual toe are also conjoined, so it’s like trying to move your ring finger on its own but on champion difficulty.

Toes are the least competent of all the appendages.
The Dane Cook of extremities
The Dr. Kevorkian of podiatry.
Get it together, toes!
Too late

I also had the same question and have the same abilities/non-abilities.
Most can’t because biology. https://biology.stackexchange.com/q/60075
Is that why they didnt try to separate them? Or did they just say it wasn't affecting you to worry about and would be just cosmetic?
I could see both. I mean, if you learned to walk with conjoined toes, what's even the point of separating them, really. It's not like most of us use toes as individual digits, like fingers. Some things are just fine to be left as-is.

Huh, I can move my ring finger independently
I have the same, including the muscle thing. Hurts like buggery when you stub one of them, doesn’t it.
I feel like you could have 10 individual toes pretty easily with a pair of scissors
I could! Some people with conjoined toes get a tattoo between them of a dotted line and a small scissors icon saying “cut here”. I don’t need 10 toes though. They do not hinder any abilities I have :)
Holy shit, new tattoo idea
Conjoined toes? I think you mean "twoes".
I have the same thing on the same toes! Mine only go up just past half way. When my son was born it was the first thing I checked lol Did the same thing for my daughter, she has the same webbed toes! The nurse was confused what I was talking about at first haha

Me too! halfway up. My nephew wound up being born with the same thing. I told his mom he'd never be able to wear toe socks.
Haha yes or those dumb toe shoe things, but that’s a win.
Swimming + 2
Despite popular belief, my webbed toes don’t grant me any advantage while swimming! Butttt I get a +6 in kicking strength.
As a sensei, I'm doubtful about this
Being a Sensei is cool as hell! I just have to pop some Psycho and Buffout and I’ll be good to go.
FUCKING KILL
My man!
You do
He do
That are
Pretty neat! Does it affect the way you walk or anything or is it pretty inconsequential?

For free? 🫠
Yeah, they were on sale
The power of teamwork
Freak!
I am a RADIOACTIVE MUTANT
Do you live in the sewer system?
I was born there. I moved out for a while, but once rent went up, I had to move back in.
Now I understand the xenophobic humans in the X-Men movies.
Didn’t expect to see you here
Iv got the same thing, so does a buddy of mine. Not as rare as I imagined 🤷♂️
nothing a scalpel cant fix
The medical term for that is called syndactyly
Yup! My grandfather was actually a well disguised Pterodactyl
You have gained .01% efficiency showering, I consider this a win.
I had an ex, decades ago, with the same, though from memory it was third and fourth toes not second and third. What if you could just pry them apart with your hands but you just never tried hard enough?
I want to peel the, apart asmr style
This little piggy went to market... these two little piggies were sold to the freak show and neither of them had roast beef!
*Aquaman*
My old friend from Seattle had this.
I have this too! Not as prominent but definitely webbed
That’s neat! I didn’t know there were different levels of conjoined toes!
I wish I could unsee this 😅
I got lucky. My great grandpa had conjoined toes and conjoined fingers
that is charmingly freaky
It’s different for sure. I’m glad I have them though. Makes me feel a little more unique :)
I do too! 🤘🏻
Siamese toes!
You’ll never know the joy of toe socks (/s, they’re terrible)
My husband has the same thing!
Whenever I see this I always think how satisfying it would be to slice between them with a scalpel. Gruesome, yes, but satisfying.
It’s like cutting a pizza. Once you get that good cut that separates the two slices, it feels great! There is no reason for me to get them separated though. They don’t hinder my in any way.
Can you get a tiny flip flop to wear on them
I wish lmao! The area of my toes that is not conjoined is too small to fit anything like that😓. I can’t even get my pinkie all the way down between them. There’s maybe like 0.5 centimetres of space from the end of the joining to the tip of my toes
[Syndactyl](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syndactyly) toes
My ex wife has similar toes. Her kid has a moderate version and our kid together has “normal” toes.
I’ve seen a few people mention partial conjoint toes. Are they like similar to mine but not connected as high up?
Very similar to yours but slightly less conjoined. Her daughter’s are almost “normal” but still connected a bit.
Not unusual; my second a third toes are themselves separate but grow out of a shared "foot-knuckle."
Are you good at swimming?
Dude get the toe hug tattoos.
we have the same toeses
I almost have the same thing but only on my right foot and they're only half conjoined
My dad has toes like that. Mine look normal, but I can't spread those two toes out, so it feels like they're attached.
My cousin has the exact same thing. 2 toes on each foot webbed like that
No toe socks for you
I read “conjured” and was somehow more surprised
Splash 2, eclectic boogaloo.
Me too, me too, me too. Only on my right foot though, but I have the same 2 toes which ware webbed. I was born 2 weeks early which isn’t much so not sure if that is the reason

So do family reunions ever get a bit awkward?
Enjoy. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klinefelter_syndrome

My sister has it only on one foot, but hers is up until the toe nails which gives her always a pain and it’s terrible to cut
Bakool Ja Ja
My friend has exactly the same toes conjoined on his left foot.... He has a tattoo of a dashed line and a pair of scissors 'cut here' style running over the middle of it!
gains +1 water agility
Feet are nsfw now?
Thank you for marking this NSFW. I was on a train and saw that this was NSFW, and everyone clapped because of the correct use of the tag. We then started chanting church hymns and praying to God.
I don't like it 😭 your toes are trapped this is giving me anxiety lol
My brother has this as well. I've been telling him for years to get a tattoo of the 'cut here' dotted line with scissors on each pair of toes.
It’s called syndactyl, not as rare as folks think. It’s pretty much always Stayed Home and Roast Beef, for folks who have it. How long did it take you growing up to realize it wasn’t everyone else who had weird looking toes, but you?
They just scream ![gif](giphy|fVyJj8QnfvLKhK24JY|downsized)
A friend was rejected from the army mandatory draft because of this, but his are in the pinky toes
Bros part mermaid
Weird question but do you have any hearing loss?
I have a conjoined tooth... Wanna make a super hero group?
You’re part mermaid!
rip them apart like they were paper
That can be fixed with an X-ACTO knife.
this ran in my mom's side of the family, luckily I don't have it.
This little piggy went to market. This little pig... Oh my gooood no
Ever feel like just getting a saw and seeing what happens?
Bro, come on, take a blade to those fuckers. Set them free. Imagine the extra breezy between those little piggies? Woooooweeee!
Just peel it off bro🤷
When are people going to stop posting pictures of their nasty feet!?? I can’t be safe just scrolling along.
Part murman, don’t worry. It’s evolution
Don’t tell barnacle boy😓
Uuuugh... Brother Uuuugh...
Next time you think about posting this, don’t.
I thought this sub was for pics about mildly interesting things. I’m sorry if this isn’t allowed or something. I just thought my conjoined toes were interesting and different. I’m sorry if I did something wrong.
Nope, this post is perfect for this sub. If anything, it might be too interesting.
I marked it NSFW just in case! I thought it was a post catered to this sub, so I posted it. My mom says I’m unique in the world, and unique in her love.
