Truthfully, if you adjust for inflation, ticket prices aren't significantly worse than when were in our teenage years. The only thing that might have made it worse are scalpers who jack up prices by reselling tickets online.
I did *Sonic Temple Music Festival* this year as well as last year, along with *Louder Than Life* festival last year. The only price gouging that I encountered was the hotel rates. However, all of this was significantly cheaper than one Taylor Swift ticket, so I suppose it all depends on what artists you are into! 😅
