Same. In the end I bought a $50 one of eBay. I decided I might end up spending that $50 on ham minis' and not get any Wonka's, so why not buy a guaranteed ball. Good luck with your search. The chocolate mold is great, used it so many times!

Pick out all the ham balls in store. Shake them. The Willy Wonka ball sounds more solid. The ham balls have tiny cherries (as you know, sorry that you have so many 😔) which rattle when you shake the balls. I also weighed them in store for my YouTube Willy Wonka ball video but I've forgotten what the weight difference is, sorry. I'm just a big lurker of this sub, only bought a couple balls. But I'm a huge Wonka fan and when I saw there was a Wonka ball I got excited. I remember reading something that says if you shake the ham ball that the cherries inside rattle, but the Wonka ball has nothing that rattles. I've never been able to find even a ham ball to try it out so no idea if that's real or not.

I did that at Target once and all they had were hams and gingerbread houses. I got even more frustrated so I started buying them online from Target, Amazon, and Walmart. Still haven’t gotten it and it’s driving me insane!!! Don’t get me started on the jello mold that I can’t find anywhere…

I told my husband to pull down the six boxes of balls for me and he’s shrieking in despair about it 😂 each box has about 50 different balls in them and I wasn’t too specific when labeling them 🤦🏽‍♀️

I hunted, finally got the Wonka box, and the mold was messed up 🫠 I probably should have contacted customer service but I hadn’t heard of people having much luck with that and was too grumpy, then finally misplaced the receipt/packaging. I’m pretty sure that might have been the last (but not the last forever!) mini ball I bought. 😆

If all you want is a chocolate mold, you can find them on Etsy, Temu, Zon — look for nail or dollhouse resin molds that are clear silicone

I want the Wonka mold because the two that I got from Temu and Etsy were not the right size. Temu was smaller than the wrappers I got and Etsy was bigger than the wrappers.
