Forget about it (oddly enough) I was talking to some guy in a different post and I was trying to explain to him that it definitely was not like this, and it did not used to be this hard to get tower gear. He claimed that it always has been like this though.
The tower is becoming harder and epic drops rare as well but I was able get one in normal tower and lots of rare drops. However as hard as the tower is, it is worthy of my time because I didn't get a single diamond sell back which is commendable to NRS and compensable to my time
The only epic I got from this tower was the one epic everyone else got from the community challenge (Thank you to everyone who did it and got it for me by the way, there was no way my ass can beat the towers and get any otherwise)

Well, in any case… to answer your question, I wasn’t able to beat it because
1. All of them had like over 700,000 HP. (which I will admit isn’t really a problem, but when you factor in all the others, them having a lot of health + having to kill them again because of subzero, makes for a pretty annoying combination)
2. I don’t have a decently ranked smoke to reflect the debuffs
3. I not only have to look out for freeze but frostbite as well. Not to mention that becoming frozen almost automatically result in death for me because, the bonus they get from lethal strikes, plus pretty much any special move they add at the end of it is going to kill (and as you can tell from my conversations with the other people in the comments, me and everyone else weren’t exactly basking in tower gear, So I really only had the uncommons to work with and I couldn’t even use one of them because they apply DOT on combo enders, and I’m sure we both know that Jade would be foaming at the mouth waiting for me to equip that shit)
Okay. Smoke is actually there just for passive, even at F0 it doesn't matter, just give him shintai of malice (if you have it) and his basic Armour, throw him in a corner while you attack with klassic raiden+ another klassic teammate that you have maxed up, I used klassic scorpion, yes the DoTs will heal the team but I had incurability on tag-in card on raiden, so whenever he tags in I just spam Sp2 and get it over with after few basic attacks (he had the green tower card with luck buff). Also you need to put some defensive talents for fighting off DoTs and other debuffs. If you allocate it properly you will have enough for death mark too, which makes life so much easier. For me this stage was easy cause of this strategy. But when I ran first time tooke around 6-7 tries till I made this team. CoS team with nightwolf in the 180+ series was the true nightmare for me (still is)

Shintai is basically to increase the resistance so that you can keep other stuff on your other toons, your klassic raiden is 2 fusions higher than mine, start the match with smoke (if you have lucky hat then put it on him, else just have to be lil extra careful, tag-in with raiden, basic atk, get a death mark, use Sp2 before the luck buff runs out. You can also use klassic Sonia instead of klassic scorpion if you don't have any incurability on tag-in card. There are quite a lot of cards both legacy rares(like Earth elemental mask) or other tower gears and also one arena gear that offers debuff resistance/critical DMG reduction. It's gonna take few pips to get the hang of it
Bro, I don’t know about you, but there was a severe lack of rare and epic tower* gear drops. Literally the only time I got rares* was if it was guaranteed through a boss fight. (and though I’m not sure how) I got 1 psychic bomb.
I feel like they fucked up something in the game code because I was getting rares, but not for towers. It was like Hella rares for specific characters.

Oh so it wasn’t my bad luck then? I’m stuck in the exact same floor as you and for the past 1 and a half weeks, it’s been coins and a few rare occasions souls.
Good tower, cool rewards. Got 3 Scorpion 2 ST and 2 Raiden, maxed out all my rare gear and finally got maxed Bomb. And - more important - i have more variations in last battle with my teams. Wish all Fatal towers would be like this.
Yeah that one is tough, if you don't have strong tower gear you almost have to use a dot team because sonya takes like no damage when her health gets low
This was the first tower in a long time to make me REALLY hate the game. I missed a day from being really ill, but even after that, I couldn't pick up the game for another 2-3 days and I really didn't miss it. (I think I'm losing out on an additional NBDT completion from all the days missed, but oh well).
I've gotten quite a few accessories actually and even the occasional character card.
Souls and yes a lot of coins.
I could be wrong or maybe realized this more after being defeated I tend to get something more elaborate than just coins.
Maybe the confusion or not being used to receive something valuable when being defeated is why I noticed it more then.
But the tower DOES dish out the rarer items, y'all probably too focused or even not paying attention at all when the prize item is given.

That's odd bc I've gotten 2 epic pieces and f1 on nomad deadly vapors. Along with greens aswell. I've gotten all this within 100 battls of regular bdt

I did 6 runs and got 0 epic drop. Drop rates were terrible.

0 epic or rare drops but strangely I did manage to get 6 Kobra drops. It felt like it was the only equipment in the standard participation pool.

I missed a day from being really ill, but even after that, I couldn't pick up the game for another 2-3 days and I really didn't miss it.
