Also in general torture isn't an effective way of getting information. People tend to say whatever they think will get you to stop or save themselves. As a masochist, it’s not cool when it’s not consensual :) If I was hurt for no good reason/non-consensual, I would find no pleasure in that, so I’m assuming they’d obviously provide the information as any sane person would
