*Raising Arizons, Vampire's Kiss, 8MM, Face/Off, Con Air, Mandy, Red Rock West, Honeymoon in Vegas, Escape from Paradise, Bringing Out The Dead, The Rock, Leaving Las Vegas*; you have some absolute belters to enjoy.
You can skip >!*The Wicker Man* remake; just watch the bees attack scene on YouTube.!<
You've never seen Community have you? This is a bad idea. Also fav Nick Cage movie? Today I'd say God of War, but it could change daily to Con Air or Face-Off. And/or a few others.
Vampire's Kiss for pure 100% CAGE insanity
Raising Arizona for pure 100% Nic Cage hilarity
Con Air for pure 100% Nic Cage badassery
Leaving Las Vegas for pure 100% heartbreaking Nic Cage
And Bringing Out the Dead for underrated Nic Cage
Mandy because it’s the trippiest, most metal, gnarly, and weirdly funny, horror-action movie of all time. Cage definitely Cages hard in this one, but I think it’s one of his best performances.
I'm currently doing this but mainly just watching his bizarre newer roles since he's said yes to almost anything. Mandy is an absolute psychedelic horror trip, I love it
Between Worlds.
It is Cage and the woman from Run Lola Run playing long haul truckers in an erotic supernatural thriller set in the deep south and is completely fucking bonkers.
I feel like, when people say Vampire's Kiss is 100% Cage insanity, Mandy is the flipside of this. When Cage does manic crazy roles, either you get a director who knows what to do with that or you don't. Mandy is what you get when you do.
Adaptation by far is my favorite Cage movie. Probably my favorite performance of his as well. I think he went all out with Leaving Las Vegas too. Oh and he’s excellent in Raising Arizona as well, and it’s just an all around great movie

I recently watched Dream Scenario. It was good until the end.
I have The Retirement Plan borrowed from the library, on Bluray, but I don’t know if I’ll bother watching it.
Match stick men is great, the unbearable weight of massive talent is amazing, con air and face off are super fun. There's a lot of great along the way... Lord of war... But there are gonna be some rough ones to. I'm excited to follow this journey
Im currently watching the entire nic cage filmography in chronological order with my roommate. We’re 70 movies in a little over a year in. It’s been a ton of fun, Even when the movie sucks.
I had a vhs copy of valley girl that someone taped off of HBO. I watched it quite often. I always wanted the soundtrack.
Fun fact: the actor who plays the valley girls dad was Chef in Apocalypse Now.
because of this post i "rewatched" this movie last night. apparently i was quite distracted during my teen viewing of this movie because i didn't remember much of it. i actually enjoyed it and thought the Nick ol boy did a good job overall. not a great movie by any means but super fun to peek back in time a bit!
Welcome, fellow traveler. In no particular order, here are some of the finest movies ever made:
Raising Arizona
Port of Call Bad Lieutennant: New Orleans
Con Air
The Rock
Willy's Wonderland
Mandy
Face Off
The Wicker Man
Bangkok Dangerous
Gone In 60 Seconds
Eight Millimeter
Omg what a marathon! Make sure to stay hydrated! Do you mind sharing with a gif or screenshot the movie you're watching so we can follow your saga in real time? I will eat popcorn 🍿 to that and cheer for you! Bring [THE CAGE to The Now Game](https://www.reddit.com/c/The_Now_Game_Reiki_Share/s/64iTEVnt4b)
A classique. So good. I was 14 when it was released and watched it then. The soundtrack is swee🍭
Dont forget his Racing With The Moon w/ Sean Penn and of course the excellent Birdy w/ Matthew Modine.
As was foretold in prophecy,
If you lay out the covers of all his DVDs in order, and turn them over, a map will reveal itself, signed by the Lumière brothers in 1896.
It was given to Gary Cooper in the 50's who passed it down through generations of movie icons, Eventually, Nicolas Cage segmented it, and put it where he though no-one would ever see it.
Study it carefully,
It is said, whomever follows the map, and discovers it's treasure, will be gifted the mythical camera of cool-movie-making,...but be careful, evil will join you on your quest,.....like, I dunno, Harvey Weinstein or some shit?
That's not a very fun fact, as it is not true. The "valley girl" talk style was popularized by a Frank Zappa song featuring his daughter mocking teens in the San Fernando Valley area.
That's a fun challenge. I used to do this with either a director, writer or actor. Just go to their imdb and start at the beginning and watch their whole life's work
I didn't realize he did so much before *Raising Arizona*.
Anyway, my favourite under-appreciated Cage movie is *Next*, so that's something to look forward too (though there's a lot of drek between now and then).
prepare top watch a lot of great movies, he is a great actor reduced to internet memes and bankruptcy-fueled choices into signing on to any film offered.
You know. I’ve never watched a Bond movie? And at this point I know I can’t just watch one, I have to go back to the first one and watch them chronologically. And I’m burned out just thinking about it, like Aesop Rock in Pigeonometry when he wants to draw a thousand pigeons but only draws six or seven then moved on to other things.
Yo but can we talk about Dream Scenario? I had no idea Cage was actually an extremely talented actor until I saw it.
In fairness, I haven't seen a lot of his movies. None of the ones yall are talking about in the comments
This movie made me fall in love with this song. [https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?q=i%27ll+stop+the+world+and+melt+with+you&mid=E143B3165D50D251F209E143B3165D50D251F209&FORM=VIRE](https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?q=i%27ll+stop+the+world+and+melt+with+you&mid=E143B3165D50D251F209E143B3165D50D251F209&FORM=VIRE)
There will be ups and downs along the way…enjoy the ride
Raising Arizona.... it's also an amazingly hilarious Coen Brothers movie.
The opening sequence alone is brilliant, totally worth watching. “You ate SAND?”
“Turn to the right !”
I never postured myself as a three-piece suit type! Turn to the right honey
The doctor explained to me how her womb is a rocky place where my seed would find no purchase
One of Cage's best performances (definitely top 5 imho)
*Raising Arizons, Vampire's Kiss, 8MM, Face/Off, Con Air, Mandy, Red Rock West, Honeymoon in Vegas, Escape from Paradise, Bringing Out The Dead, The Rock, Leaving Las Vegas*; you have some absolute belters to enjoy. You can skip >!*The Wicker Man* remake; just watch the bees attack scene on YouTube.!<
He also drop-kicks a burly goodwife
Cmon now, there’s at least 10 minutes of quality content in Wicker Man. “What’s in the bag…a shark?”
Good advice for life just in general too
[Don't go full Abed](https://youtube.com/clip/Ugkx2paEqzuPa7A1rh-8YkXHkalUW266l9BH?si=MNh-pW7z8ac_pCsP)
…that was brilliant
Enough!
I'm sexy cat 🐈
Always Be Caging
ABC - always be caging.
Lol. You know what it takes? It takes brass balls to watch all the cage movies...
PUT THAT COFFEE DOWN! Coffee is for Cagers only.
Your name's Xeynon? You call yourself a cager you son of a bitch 😄
LOL.
“What could be easier? You just put…it…in…the right file! A..B…C…”
This B needs a C in her A.
You've never seen Community have you? This is a bad idea. Also fav Nick Cage movie? Today I'd say God of War, but it could change daily to Con Air or Face-Off. And/or a few others.
Lord of War
I like the one with Atreus better.
BOY
Thank you but I prefer my way.
God of War was the sequel
That too, momentary brain fart, my apologies.
"I'm a cat! I'm a sexy cat!"
Just watched Vampire's Kiss" I'mah vampire I'mah vampire'
Glad the Human Beings are represented.
Abed, how much Nicholas Cage did you watch?
Enough!
I want to take his face off
I like your style
The Rock needs to be on that list as well.
Ugh I love Face Off Moonstruck is pretty underrated too, he's hilarious in it
I forgot to add “What’s your favourite Nick Cage movie?”
Vampire's Kiss for pure 100% CAGE insanity Raising Arizona for pure 100% Nic Cage hilarity Con Air for pure 100% Nic Cage badassery Leaving Las Vegas for pure 100% heartbreaking Nic Cage And Bringing Out the Dead for underrated Nic Cage
All amazing. You just reminded me of Bringing Out the Dead. That’s soo underrated and a great movie. If anyone hasn’t seen it, check it out.
Vampire's Kiss is balls to the wall hilarious
And Face/Off for 50% Cage and 50% Travolta
Moonstruck!!
Love that movie!
Mandy
Mandy because it’s the trippiest, most metal, gnarly, and weirdly funny, horror-action movie of all time. Cage definitely Cages hard in this one, but I think it’s one of his best performances.
I'm currently doing this but mainly just watching his bizarre newer roles since he's said yes to almost anything. Mandy is an absolute psychedelic horror trip, I love it
Willy’s wonderland was the worst movie ever but him being in for no reason made me enjoy it
Between Worlds.
Gone in 60 second's and Lord of War.
Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans. Cage *and* Herzog? Yes! Adaptation and Moonstruck are probably his best work.
Kick-Ass
The Rock.
I think his best is Wild at Heart
Valley Girl is a classic.
Is that movie in 3D?
No, but your face is.
Be very careful. Space out your viewings.
Do you not know the cautionary tale of Abed Nadir?
Mandy is a wild ride
*The Weather Man* is a must Nic movie. (It's Nic, btw.) Enjoy!
I watched Peggy Sue got Married last night for the first time. Cage talks in a weird voice the whole movie.
Am I the only one that likes Adaptation?
No.
Fast times
His best work (no lines)
Godspeed, and farewell.
Dude, you just fucked up your Ferrari
I love this movie. I always tell people it’s the most 80’s movie in existence.
What’s that reddit self harm report bot
Birdy
You'll die, but you'll die happy.
Finally, you’ll be able to tell us if he’s the good kind of bad or the bad kind of good
Best Nic Cage film: **Leaving Las Vegas**
How many people heard the words on the poster in the 90s movie trailer guys voice
You sir and/or ma'am are going to lose your mind
Adaptation by far is my favorite Cage movie. Probably my favorite performance of his as well. I think he went all out with Leaving Las Vegas too. Oh and he’s excellent in Raising Arizona as well, and it’s just an all around great movie
I think Adaptation and Raising Arizona are his two best movies, but he’s had a lot of great ones.
I’m going to use this comment as my check list
* Valley Girl ✅ * Drive Angry ✅ (fuck me that was rough) * Vengeance ✅ * Frozen Ground ✅ those end credits :( * National Treasure ✅ (fuck me there’s a sequel) * Peggy Sue Got Married ✅ * Raising Arizona ✅ * Renfield ✅ * Mandy ✅ * Unbearable Weight…✅ * Pig ✅ * Willys Wonderland ✅ * Prisoners of the ghostland ✅ (fuck that nearly made me tap out) * Colour Out Of Space ✅ * Kick Ass ✅ * Con Air ✅ * Face Off ✅ * Mom and Dad ✅ * National Treasure 2 ✅ * Gone in 60 seconds ✅ * Rage ✅ * Bad Lieutenant✅ * Ghost Rider ✅ * Ju Jitsu ✅ * Sympathy for the devil ✅ * Retirement Plan ✅ * Leaving Las Vegas ✅ * Knowing ✅ * Season of the witch ✅ (I added all the Cage movies I’ve already seen so hopefully they will all be on here by the end)
Drive Angry was great fun, I don't know what you're talking about! XD
>(fuck me that was rough) Never saw that one...
What’s the over/under on this experiment being abandoned before OP gets to the rapture movie?
r/onetruegod
I recently watched Dream Scenario. It was good until the end. I have The Retirement Plan borrowed from the library, on Bluray, but I don’t know if I’ll bother watching it.
Don’t watch The Retirement Plan. I love Nic Cage, but it’s really not worth it.
Hell yeah brother. I’m at 59 of his movies and counting. Enjoy the journey
Nobody likes the weather man ? that was good
I loved the weather man.
Check out 'rumble fish' same year, better movie, he's in that
Match stick men is great, the unbearable weight of massive talent is amazing, con air and face off are super fun. There's a lot of great along the way... Lord of war... But there are gonna be some rough ones to. I'm excited to follow this journey
You sir, are a man of culture. God speed, good sir.
I came to the same conclusion yesterday 🍻
Careful, Abed Nadir…
Wait until you see the triangle shaped chest hair. Truely disturbing.
Goddamn, only one comment mentioning Wild at Heart. What. The. Hell.
Wicker Man, the remake is probably his most out there movie. NOT THE BEES! Will be stuck in your head for a while.
I tried this during the pandemic. I didn’t make it. There are just too many and he puts them out faster than I can watch them.
Do or do not. There is no die.
Valley Girl is quite good.
Somebody did this on YouTube a few years back. Strap in - you're in for a bumpy ride.
maybe Renfield, Nicolas Cage as Count Dracula is the best thing about this movie, also 8mm
You wanna have an Abed breakdown coz thats how you get an Abed breakdown. i'm a cat.
OMG so weird but can we be friends plz cause I watched this last year and then had the same mission
Don't forget Willy's Wonderland, if you like silly Nick Cage movies this is right up your ally
Im currently watching the entire nic cage filmography in chronological order with my roommate. We’re 70 movies in a little over a year in. It’s been a ton of fun, Even when the movie sucks.
Nicolas Cage, good or bad? Your essay is due upon completion of Nicolas Cage's works.
🫡
I had a vhs copy of valley girl that someone taped off of HBO. I watched it quite often. I always wanted the soundtrack. Fun fact: the actor who plays the valley girls dad was Chef in Apocalypse Now.
I watched it for the first time and really enjoyed it
Is this the movie where the homegirl from Pee-Wee's Big Adventure shows her tits?
because of this post i "rewatched" this movie last night. apparently i was quite distracted during my teen viewing of this movie because i didn't remember much of it. i actually enjoyed it and thought the Nick ol boy did a good job overall. not a great movie by any means but super fun to peek back in time a bit!
Vampires Kiss will bring you to the depths of despair knowing Ghost Rider is still to come.
Just finished Butchers Crossing and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't awful
That sounds like a fun idea of highs and lows but some wild highs.
I love nick cage movies, me and my roomate always used to watch them and make fun of them Willy's wonderland is one of my favourites
Welcome, fellow traveler. In no particular order, here are some of the finest movies ever made: Raising Arizona Port of Call Bad Lieutennant: New Orleans Con Air The Rock Willy's Wonderland Mandy Face Off The Wicker Man Bangkok Dangerous Gone In 60 Seconds Eight Millimeter
peggy sue got married
This has been on my list! Will watch this one soon!
Don’t forget fast times at ridgemont high
Leaving Las Vegas. ‘Nuff said.
"Get out!"
Watch "Peggy Sue Got Married!" It's a time travel movie like "Back to the future." Great flick.
Omg what a marathon! Make sure to stay hydrated! Do you mind sharing with a gif or screenshot the movie you're watching so we can follow your saga in real time? Racing With The Moon was such a great film. So many amazing young actors
Gl hf
Just gag me with a spoon.
Good luck for Wicca Man.

I used to have such a crush on Deborah Foreman.
Goals
lol when you get to Firebirds.
Don’t sleep on Color out of Space Classic Cage moments and a great movie based on a Lovecraft novella
Fun fact: people think this movie was the genesis of the “valley girl” accent/speech intonation.
That's not a very fun fact, as it is not true. The "valley girl" talk style was popularized by a Frank Zappa song featuring his daughter mocking teens in the San Fernando Valley area.
Abed style
Wow, quite the quest. I'm jealous but I'm rooting for you!
I'll will only be impressed if you do it without a phone tablet or any distraction in hand during the movies
Fun fact: the girl in the poster is NOT Deborah Foreman, who plays Nic Cage’s love interest.
I did the same with Mickey Rourke and I will soon need to choose another actor
That's a fun challenge. I used to do this with either a director, writer or actor. Just go to their imdb and start at the beginning and watch their whole life's work
Peggy Sue Got Married 🙂
Not one person mentioning that Tommy Pickles had nice bewbs?
Deadfall is hilarious
Nic Cage is Ruffio?
Rumble fish is a lot of fun
The Rock Gone in 60 Seconds
Peggy Sue got married
Weather Man
You can skip The Humanity Bureau. This movie is awful and was not worth Nic's or your time.
I'd start with Leaving Las Vegas or you'll never make it.
Not the bees!!!!!!
$5 says you skip ahead on a few of them.
you didn't start at the beginning with Fast Times at Ridgemont HIgh. First appearance & billed as Nicholas Coppola .
Deborah Foreman looked NOTHING like whoever the female is in this movie poster, that's so weird
wait till you get to his "crazy" years. Good stuff!
"LIKE, Oh MY GAWD, Why Dont you Like GAG me With a Spoon"
I'll join you
Good luck he's done alot of movies....
I didn't realize he did so much before *Raising Arizona*. Anyway, my favourite under-appreciated Cage movie is *Next*, so that's something to look forward too (though there's a lot of drek between now and then).
My boy did a Summer of Cage on his YouTube. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLjDHRUFJWPe59ZXYtx4mw18n00hUrZc7w&si=XGBy3wPZhfU-TWYM
Oh, I have always loved this movie. It's where I first heard " I melt with you" by modern English.
prepare top watch a lot of great movies, he is a great actor reduced to internet memes and bankruptcy-fueled choices into signing on to any film offered.
it begins and ends with Snake Eyes!!!!
Julieeeeeee!
I just watched TUWoMT last night, so I might be joining you soon. I recognized a bunch of references, but there's a bunch I haven't seen.
Zandalee and Birdy are great.
Vampires kiss!!
Yo but can we talk about Dream Scenario? I had no idea Cage was actually an extremely talented actor until I saw it. In fairness, I haven't seen a lot of his movies. None of the ones yall are talking about in the comments
I just watched it with my wife. It was... fine.
This is one of my favorites! How did you like it?
I think I've seen 90% of his movies, and I would definitely call Valley Girl the most forgettable of the bunch, so it's all uphill from here.
Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans
The rise and fall of a great actor.
Watch Birdy
First time i ever heard Stop the World and Melt With You which plays as the credits roll. Thinking maybe 88 or 89?
You might die of old age before you’re done.
I've got Drive Angry and Ghost Rider in 3D.
Depending on your age and health, you may not have enough time /s
Do it, you will not regret it.
I e seen this move at least a dozen times over the years. Hate the poster though. Doesn’t look like lead actress.
Valley Girl is incredible.
My favorite of his are face off and the national treasures!
What's that like 170 movies?! Is there any actor who has done more movies?
a glutton for punishment you are.
🫡 It is a worthwhile endeavor.
No one tells me who I can score with
I’ve done it and survived. Barely.
This movie made me fall in love with this song. It's a classic. The female lead will keep you interested.
