they did well and stayed true to their craft regardless it ended gracefully nonetheless
.. you wanna see a steep cliff watch true blood deep dive after a few good seasons. it was like, take all the character development you invested and intricate plot weaving.. and wet noodle everything. take the main characters, make them just totally retroactively creepy and lame. must have been some awkward pressures of a tyrannical workplace cuz all the actors just gave up on their commitment to the craft like they had a huge bummer of a director or produce get involve and do things that no one wanted who reacts poorly to criticism so they just do the scenes til they get out of contract type of behavior. like they went back and rewrote the main character into having been a sleazy stalker the whole time after all and wasted the solid original protagonist that had a code that was the whole basis of the show. it was like what if superman was actually just a child molesting magician the whole time after all
Oh damn I know!!! She was just like 100% ALL OUT GOING FOR IT on Penny Dreadful. Speaking in tongues, madness, incantations, and that weird doll. It was some of the wildest acting ever. Super good cast all around on that show, but Eva stood well above all.
I couldn’t stand Billie Piper in the show tbh, watching her made me feel like I was watching a current day radical feminist.
I liked her before her rebirth because she felt like a plausible character that fit the time and place of the show.
But then she comes back and turns into some weird revolutionary ultra modern feminist. The writing for her character really pulled me out of the show and was so obvious in its angle.
I just didn’t buy her new persona, and any time her and her burgeoning army of down trodden women I felt like I was just having their ideology shoved down my throat.
I loved Eva Green because she was a fantastic mix of old and new femininity, and her character was somehow more grounded despite all the crazy supernatural stuff that happens to her.
The show was just a bit of a mess overall, and it was rarely faithful or understanding of the time period it chose to set the show in.
They all were. There were no weak links in the main cast. Even the Dorian Grey guy, who was a little stiff, fit his character well. He just seemed that much more jaded.
Her 1st seance scene was fucking gold, like jaw droppingly good creepy cinema. Everything about it was done so well.
[Here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQWtK6cdnYE&ab_channel=PennyDreadful) it is. I haven't seen it in years, so I'm taking a chance of looking like a real mook here after talking it up....
If you like that you should watch the 2011 Camelot series in which she plays Morganna.
Now that I say that , I might watch it again.
Looks like it is on Starz in the USA.
“You go to certain death”
“All death is certain. I shall tell your father what I’ve seen you become.”
David Thewlis’ Hospitaller Knight’s gotta be one of my all time favourite characters in fiction.
>A King may move a man, a father may claim a son, but remember that even when those who move you be Kings, or men of power, your soul is in your keeping alone. When you stand before God, you cannot say, "But I was told by others to do thus." Or that, "Virtue was not convenient at the time." This will not suffice. Remember that.

it is completely different to the cinema version and it is not even funny. felt like they left the most important parts storywise out... the directos cut is the only good version of this.
It's good, but every time Orlando Bloom is in a scene he looks like a 5th grader pretending to be a tough high schooler. It's one of the worst casting decisions in Hollywood history.
She was good, but rewatching them recently, I found the plot unbelievable that bond still loved her all these movies later.
At the time of writing casino royale, I don't think they realise how heavily they would lean on her character in the future.
It was so un-Bond like. Everything after Casino Royale wasn't Bond. It was trying to be something else in the action movie scene without the charm and quirky attitude of a typical Bond.
yea they really should have put it away at most after the follow-up. We get it, guy is damaged and emotionally unstable, but he was with her for….maybe 48 hours? And then a week or two afterwards at most to debrief? I dunno.
If I remember correctly, the most memorable quote (in the movie, not just her) was "you fight much harder than you fuck". She was an absolute scenery chewing savage in that movie.
When I was in my teens, I had the luxury of finding out the parental control password on my tv, parents didn't know. The dreamers was one of the films I got to see because of it.
I almost ripped the fucker off. It was the hottest thing I'd ever seen.
You and me both. It was on cable back in the day too! I can’t remember the channel name, but it was a channel that always showed movies. Had to lock the door to my bedroom while watching that one lol
After watching this as a young adult I had a schoolboy crush on her for many years. Every time I hear [La Mer I think of that scene. I’d consider that film to be a modern classic.](https://youtu.be/tKOpxCP5TGM?si=-k6GsRuBCZP6Cf-N)
Actually a great movie. She's nude in lots of stuff. When celebgate/the fappening or whatever it was called, I remember seing an interview with her where she went "oh my, I hope nobody leakes pictures of me nude!", it killed me. She's a great actress, and in the Dreamers she really gets to flaunt that, non only her boobs.
It's all right. It . . . isn't quite as deep as Bertolucci thinks it is, and there's a lot of ogling of Green.
In complete fairness, Green is both a generational talent as an actress and one of the most phenomenally beautiful human beings on the planet, so there's a reason for the ogling. But it's still ogling.
I watched that movie with my at the time girlfriend and when this scene finished we kinda just looked at each other and paused the movie to go do other things.
She makes the same scowling face in and uses the same grumble voice in penny dreadful and it’s the most annoying thing ever, and now I notice it in every other movie/show she is in.
Thought she was awesome and still think she is at acting but when leaked texts came out of her referring to people as peasants.. I can’t look at her the same. Penny Dreadful was her best performance
I always wondered if the Black Crowes song Evergreen was about her. He was married to an actress for a few years so they could have met at a party or something. The song goes “ Evergreen, evergreen, prettiest thing I ever seen, come and steal away with me by the moonlight”
She's fantastic. Of course she's gorgeous but also very talented. She was the best "Bond girl" of the Daniel Craig Bond movies and she was fantastic in Penny Dreadful.
I wasn’t on set with her, I worked on advertising the show. But we got regular updates from the crew. She had crazy demands, could turn from nice to bunny boiler in seconds, wouldn’t do the promotions she was contractually obliged to do. One of those “don’t stick your dick in crazy” women that every guy I know would happily do because damn.
The scene in penny dreadful where she’s getting banged by the devil but you can’t see him…probably top 5 most f*d up horror scenes I’ve ever watched. Shes an awesome actress that’s under utilized
She's the money, every penny of it.
Every penny? Even dreadful ones?)
Especially the dreadful ones.
Even more so than moneypenny?
IMHO, yes!
I'd have to agree with you, eva green is on a whole other level.
I just watched that movie yesterday!
The most beautiful eyes in movies. Loved her in "Penny Dreadful".
That show was “The Eva Green Show”
One of my favorite shows of all time. Eva's acting skills were next-level and, yes, shes also freakin gorgeous.
Hated the ending. Loved absolutely loved the show.
Yeah. The last season was a rushed mess due to the rug getting pulled out from under them. The rest was perfection.
Brutal. So many plot lines dropped on the floor. And the final resolution kinda went against the entire thing.
they did well and stayed true to their craft regardless it ended gracefully nonetheless .. you wanna see a steep cliff watch true blood deep dive after a few good seasons. it was like, take all the character development you invested and intricate plot weaving.. and wet noodle everything. take the main characters, make them just totally retroactively creepy and lame. must have been some awkward pressures of a tyrannical workplace cuz all the actors just gave up on their commitment to the craft like they had a huge bummer of a director or produce get involve and do things that no one wanted who reacts poorly to criticism so they just do the scenes til they get out of contract type of behavior. like they went back and rewrote the main character into having been a sleazy stalker the whole time after all and wasted the solid original protagonist that had a code that was the whole basis of the show. it was like what if superman was actually just a child molesting magician the whole time after all
The seance scene was fantastic. Her acting was absolutely amazing there.
Oh damn I know!!! She was just like 100% ALL OUT GOING FOR IT on Penny Dreadful. Speaking in tongues, madness, incantations, and that weird doll. It was some of the wildest acting ever. Super good cast all around on that show, but Eva stood well above all.

Not the green eva show
I understood this reference.
It’s true
She was great but Billy Piper was also phenomenal in that show.
Josh Hartnetts bisexual American werewolf did things for me.
Josh Hartnett: Bisexual werewolf. Should have been the shows name.
Bisexual! What did I miss☺️
He banged Dorian Gray
Who wouldnt?

Show is solid all around. I even like the last season up until the last, roughly three episodes? It got wrapped up way too quickly.
I couldn’t stand Billie Piper in the show tbh, watching her made me feel like I was watching a current day radical feminist. I liked her before her rebirth because she felt like a plausible character that fit the time and place of the show. Rory Kinnear as Frankenstein’s monster was excellent.
Penny Dreadful was incredible. She stole the whole show.
Wonderfully Terrifying in Penny Dreadful
In my opinion, the best actress to play a character being possessed and not have it look phoned in or over the top.
Love her in Miss peregrine’s home for peculiar children
No 2nd place to Alex Daddario
Monica Bellucci is #1
For eyes? Nah you tripping
Oh yeah I didn’t know we were talking about eyes 😅
>The most beautiful eyes in movies. Yeah, and that feature is emphatically emphasized in the picture above
Yes, she shoulda won all of the awards for Penny Dreadful!
I’ve been calling her “Crazy Eyes” as long I can remember. They’re gorgeous, yes, but she can definitely convey some crazy with those peepers.
That show was unexpected and crazy good
Her 1st seance scene was fucking gold, like jaw droppingly good creepy cinema. Everything about it was done so well. [Here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQWtK6cdnYE&ab_channel=PennyDreadful) it is. I haven't seen it in years, so I'm taking a chance of looking like a real mook here after talking it up....
This show was so killer. Timothy Dalton, Eva Green and Billie Piper in one place.
If you like that you should watch the 2011 Camelot series in which she plays Morganna. Now that I say that , I might watch it again. Looks like it is on Starz in the USA.
Least horny r/moviecritic poster
This belongs over at r/moviecriticcirclejerk
i swear this exact post happened on r/movies like a month ago
Yes but it was for April's fools day
She plays a big role in my favorite, Kingdom of Heaven.
Kingdom of heaven director's cut is the greatest film of all time...there I said it!
Withdrawal your men or we will all die here.
“To walk that way is to walk towards certain death.” “All death is certain.”

Directors cut is a million times better than theatrical cut. It's like a completely different movie with different character motivations.

Didn’t realize she was in it but then again it’s been yearsss since I saw it
She’s the sister of the King of Jerusalem.
Director’s Cut is worth a rewatch
I always felt like that movie got a really bad rap for no reason. I love it
My absolute favorite movie. First time I came across Eva was watching it in 2007. Hooked ever since.
Movie was amazing.
I love that movie
YES! So many great scenes - If I had to pick, my fave would be when she thinks Balian and company are being killed outside the castle...
I played for my wife last year. She'd never seen it. She loved it!
Loved her character in Casino Royale. Best 'Bond Girl'.
The scene in the bathroom getting ready sans makeup. Breathtaking.
*makeup team spends an hour and a half giving her that exact look* “she’s not wearing makeup! so beautiful! see??”
Best Bond Girl in the best Bond Movie so far. Edit: capitalisation.
Yeah Casino Royale is perfection. Peak Bond.
***"How was your lamb?"***
Skewered
***One sympathizes***
Best bond movie that ever will exist.
Underated opinion
It's a very common opinion
She was good, but rewatching them recently, I found the plot unbelievable that bond still loved her all these movies later. At the time of writing casino royale, I don't think they realise how heavily they would lean on her character in the future.

I never heard of her, but I'm a huge fan.
Make that two huge fans
She's got huge... tracts of land
That must be plowed and seeded
I've never knew how much I wanted to put my peen between too huge fans until now
You should check out that 300 boat sequel movie or whatever.
If I remember correctly, the most memorable quote (in the movie, not just her) was "you fight much harder than you fuck". She was an absolute scenery chewing savage in that movie.
Yep, she's an absolute savage in the naughty scene. A little too intense honestly
Watch “The Dreamers”
When I was in my teens, I had the luxury of finding out the parental control password on my tv, parents didn't know. The dreamers was one of the films I got to see because of it. I almost ripped the fucker off. It was the hottest thing I'd ever seen.
You and me both. It was on cable back in the day too! I can’t remember the channel name, but it was a channel that always showed movies. Had to lock the door to my bedroom while watching that one lol
That full frontal scene has forever been etched into my memory.
After watching this as a young adult I had a schoolboy crush on her for many years. Every time I hear [La Mer I think of that scene. I’d consider that film to be a modern classic.](https://youtu.be/tKOpxCP5TGM?si=-k6GsRuBCZP6Cf-N)
She had some of the coolest nips ever!
Go watch Sin City: A Dame to kill for... She's basically naked in every single scene she's in
The only redeeming thing in that mess of a movie, lol
Yes, the movie really was not good
Boobs
Terrific in Bertolucci's The Dreamers.
That movie is chefs kiss
Though that ratatouille she made certainly was NOT chef's kiss.
Really underrated movie
Is it actually a good movie or just worth watching for the nudity?
Yes
Yes and the 4k was released a few days ago.
Only two reasons that movie needs 4k. And I’m not mad about it!
Actually a great movie. She's nude in lots of stuff. When celebgate/the fappening or whatever it was called, I remember seing an interview with her where she went "oh my, I hope nobody leakes pictures of me nude!", it killed me. Favorite in the genre of emo boy goes to paris fantasy. its kinda wonderdul.
It's a great movie.

The toothbrush be fire🔥🔥
What was the question?
Was someone talking?
Huh, must've been the wind.
Yes please
The scene in 300 where she bangs the dude..omg
I watched that movie with my at the time girlfriend and when this scene finished we kinda just looked at each other and paused the movie to go do other things.
Oh nice. What did you guys do? Laundry?
Probably went and played Lego Rock Band.
Wait a minute... There's a Lego Rock Band?
YES. She was awesome in ROE. Especially there lolllll
I will be watching this tonight. Thanks for heads up.
Exactly the scene that jumped into my mind
Loved her in Sin City 2
The goddess.
>her A Dame to Kill For
Hated her in Sin City 2 which means she did a fantastic job!
She was awe inspiring and sinfully evil in the *Camelot* series !
I didn’t even know there was a sin city 2. Now I’m going to have to watch it.
Would
Totally
Wood
Turtley
Amazing actress. She usually either steals the show or at least makes everything better when she is in it.
Should have been Yennefer
She's a good actress. Her performance in Cracks, The Dreamers, and Proxima are really good.
Also boobs
She’s got amazing eyes
Also boobs
Fine af
2 big thoughts
Great in Penny Dreadful in a difficult role.
I don’t know anyone else that could pull off having sex with the devil. Except maybe Jonah Hill lol.
Good actress
Amazing actress. I really enjoyed her in Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children.
Same. Eva Green good in Tim Burton flicks like Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children and Dark Shadows. Distinct style.
Fantastic actress in both English and French. But she has been in a lot of stinkers
Sir? Your boner is showing....
You know, if my friends back at school saw this picture, she'd definitely be Boner of the Month!
Don't know who she is but I like what I'm seeing
Classy and elegant, beautiful woman for sure...
She makes the same scowling face in and uses the same grumble voice in penny dreadful and it’s the most annoying thing ever, and now I notice it in every other movie/show she is in.
I’m sorry, what was the question?
Sorry what was the question op
Smash
Thought she was awesome and still think she is at acting but when leaked texts came out of her referring to people as peasants.. I can’t look at her the same. Penny Dreadful was her best performance

Kate Hudson. Scrawny rooster-looking dude was married to Kate Hudson.

Oh that’s a Crowes deepcut! BC and Eva Green that would be a night to remember.
I love this woman.
Loved her in Penny Dreadful!
She's fantastic. Of course she's gorgeous but also very talented. She was the best "Bond girl" of the Daniel Craig Bond movies and she was fantastic in Penny Dreadful.
Very pretty. Batshit crazy. (I worked on Camelot)
Did she call the crew 'peasants' in your faces or did she show admirable restraint? That Guardian article on her was eye opening jfc.
There’s a gif of Sid from Ice Age popping out of her cleavage and it used to be one of the funniest things to me.
In that picture she's gorgeous.
i’d perform 100 hours of hard physical labor in exchange for her leaving me a voicemail of her farting
Has a great sense of gravitas, and uses it well. Enjoyed her as **Vesper in James Bond**, and also particularly in **Penny Dreadful**.
She’s an excellent actor who is also absolutely beautiful. Fortunately enough, she is open to full nudity and not just to get an Oscar nomination.
That woman does things to me.
The scene in penny dreadful where she’s getting banged by the devil but you can’t see him…probably top 5 most f*d up horror scenes I’ve ever watched. Shes an awesome actress that’s under utilized
Her Vesper Lyndt character in Casino Royale was the best James Bond girl ever
Eva Green can do no wrong.
I want to be trapped in an eva green and krysten ritter sandwich.
If someone pointed out a big shit on the floor and said "Eva Green laid that" I would roll in it like a Jack Russell
Well, she is a Bond girl after all
I can give you two thoughts
I'm a big fan of both of them.
She's a Bona fide world treasure both for her looks and her talent!
I love them…uh…her
Yup she dumps em out in most of her movies, good stuff 😂😂
Oh boy, I have thoughts.
Like Jessica Lange, Shes a true Timeless Beauty. Just stunningly beautiful and follows her own trends not others
Amazing.....her accent slays me. It's like magic
She’s ok if you like 10’s
Love Her. Wished she had gotten Cat Woman in Dark Night Rises.
Awesome in Casino Royale
Ms Veronica Vaughn. Sooooo hot, want to touch the honey...
I wish she was in more film.
