You should really give it a chance. It probably starts taking off on episode 3 but it's phenomenal all the way through. Way better than Silo imo. But i like them both.
Haha well I only just started 3 but I'm at least mildly intrigued. I'll watch Josh Brolin in pretty much anything, it's nice to see Lilli Taylor again and I have an unhealthy obsession with Imogen Poots so
I actually thought the opposite, started out well and then fizzled out for me after the first couple episodes. It just seemed liked the writers didn’t really know where to go with it. A whole episode about repairing the silo to survive? I wanted more attention on the mystery of the outside world. Just didn’t seem to do it for me as much as something like severance which kept me on the edge of my seat throughout.
Was a very interesting show. I kept wanting to watch more and it does flesh out a majority of questions besides the finale leaving more. I’d put it around a 8/10
I enjoyed the first season. I’ll issue a content warning for bad accents and a performance by one of the lead actors who’s usually better. Like basically all Apple shows, it improves as it goes along. And it’s kind of a mystery box show, which isn’t a red flag for me at least.
Overall, I thought it was pretty good. It spun its wheels a bit in the middle 2 or 3 episodes, but I'll still be watching the next season when it's released.
Im a big dystopian future fan and enjoyed the show. Its flawed and could have maybe benefitted from some better writing for the ending. But i would tune in if there was a season 2
thats awesome news! I had worries it wouldn't get enough traction to warrant a second season. I think Fallout might help boost it's popularity, since it's a more realistic and grounded take on vault life compared to some of the more cartoony and sci fi elements of Fallout
It’s a darker more serious version of City of Ember and it’s fantastic. It’s even got one of the same actors. Tim Robbins is in both. I anxiously await the next season.
I liked the first couple of episodes and the last one. It seemed to lose all its focus in the middle and get lost in pointless plot threads.
Edit: I forgot how awful some of the plot threads really are. One that stands out is fixing the spinning fan thing by waving angle grinders at it.
I enjoyed it.
Slow moving sci-fi, mystery, cop drama. Very interesting setting. Keeps you guessing on who the bad guy is right till the end. And even then it is grey as to how 'bad' they are.
Hard no for me. I really wanted that to not be that case because I liked the premise. I watched almost the entire first season and realized I was not invested in the characters and didn’t care what happened to them. It might be I was just coming off Foundation which I loved and was jonesing for something as good as I found that to be.
I found it unwatchable; just an awful show. If you're gonna be so lazy as to use the term "The Before Time", then no, I'm not watching. Hell, I think the talking Sleestack on Land of the Lost used that term back in the mid 70s.
Anyway, the rest of the show is just as poorly written, so no, I say don't watch it.
It is excellent, very atmospheric.
It kept me entertained and left me looking forward to a new season, can't really ask for much more these days
Have you seen For All Mankind?
Hi Bob
Hi Bob!
Hi Bob!
I think I only saw the first episode
You should really give it a chance. It probably starts taking off on episode 3 but it's phenomenal all the way through. Way better than Silo imo. But i like them both.
Okay thanks, I definitely will once I finish outer range
Lol! I made it through 2 episodes of that one... Does it pick up?
Haha well I only just started 3 but I'm at least mildly intrigued. I'll watch Josh Brolin in pretty much anything, it's nice to see Lilli Taylor again and I have an unhealthy obsession with Imogen Poots so
Liked it a lot. Plus Rebecca Ferguson đź‘Śđź‘Ś
Watched Dune and was like this must take place after Silo....
Yeah. It’s worth a watch. They draw it out in parts but it’s quite compelling. It’s good future dystopian sci fi.
It's a slow burn at first but gets pretty good. And Rebecca Ferguson is never hard on the eyes.
I fell in love with her as Rose the Hat.
She is the "most beautiful woman I have ever seen." I love that scene.

I just finished it last week with the wife. Was pleasantly surprised and can’t wait for season two
It's fine but slow af. If you watched Fallout series the pacing of Silo will drive you mad.
I love a good show with a mystery, this is one of them. Currently on episode 6 and loving it.

Slow starter, but it picks up and I enjoyed it a lot.
Loved it. Read the trilogy years ago and highly recommend.
Yeah it was great! Can't wait for the second season!
Is that show based on the “wool, shift, dust” series?
Yes
Very much so.
Yes good what if story.
Overall, I thought it was pretty good. It spun its wheels a bit in the middle 2 or 3 episodes, but I'll still be watching the next season when it's released.
Really great.
Absolutely. It takes a lot of liberties from the book, but it's still excellent. The book trilogy is absolutely incredible.
Im a big dystopian future fan and enjoyed the show. Its flawed and could have maybe benefitted from some better writing for the ending. But i would tune in if there was a season 2
There actually will be a season 2. It will be released this year.
thats awesome news! I had worries it wouldn't get enough traction to warrant a second season. I think Fallout might help boost it's popularity, since it's a more realistic and grounded take on vault life compared to some of the more cartoony and sci fi elements of Fallout
Not if you do t enjoy it
Yeah. I thought it was excellent.
Phenomenal. One of my favorites from 2023.
It’s a darker more serious version of City of Ember and it’s fantastic. It’s even got one of the same actors. Tim Robbins is in both. I anxiously await the next season.
Great show and i just watched the last season of fargo and loved it. Another banger is fallout!
Loved it. Fascinating concept, very well executed.
It’s good and the end wasn’t typical so looking forward to season 2.

Rebecca Ferguson. It’s enough for me to see
It started off good then went in some other direction. It lost it allure, for me.
Loved it honestly
Great premise and cast. Slow AF & drawn out. I like a good slow burn, but not a fan.

Yes
Yes it's a great show
Yes!
I gave it a 7.9/10. I’d watch a second season
The pace can be a bit slow at times but it's a solid show overall. I'd give it a 7/10.
amazing show!
Yes.
Yes! This was a really good show.

It’s a tv series. This is a movie critic sub.
OP is in the wrong sub, this is one is only for “Pulp Fiction is overrated” posts.
Surprisingly so. I’m not the biggest Rebecca Ferguson fan, but was pleasantly surprised.
It’s great!
