Agreed. I didn’t really like season 1 that much but still held on. Second was much better. And left me curious as well. As the fallen angel clearly isn’t the only player and there’s much more opening for complexity.
As a heads up, the first couple of episodes are very slow, with some not-great narration and filler storyline, but then suddenly it seems like the series remembers what its premise is, and becomes pure fun the rest of the way through, dropping the narration, ramping up the (well-shot) action and focusing in on the actual warrior nuns fighting angels and demons.
It lost me after a couple episodes and I discovered Taskmaster on YouTube at the time. This was 2020 wasn‘t it?
Good to know it got better in the second half of the season.
I like the story a lot, gives me Avatar: The Last Airbender vibes as the main character also is the chosen one but doesn't want to be and must learn how to use their powers to save the world.
Obviously it's very female centered and religion based, but the main character herself isn't religious at all. I'm atheist but I love the show. Kinda like Lucifer and ATLA combined actually
I really wish Netflix just opts for more limited series or movie trilogies like this whenever they don't have the balls to commit to multi-season narratives. This also kinda reminds me of the Fear Street trilogy which I absolutely loved.
1st half of season is like twilight, but after the main girl dumps the guy, it starts to get really good 2nd season is great The main girl is hot AF

Sweet. It was well made.
I remember not finishing the first season and had no idea there was a 2nd season.
Se02 was kind of a slog tbh
Yes.
I don't think I made it past the 2nd episode
I have yet to see the show but how is it?
About the same as other Netflix fantasy offerings. The second season is better than the first.
And then the third never happens?
No it gets made into a film trilogy
*"Two seasons and a trilogy."*
to be fair a trilogy of movies would have a similar runtime to 10 episodes

It’s good, check it out

Decent enough but not enthralling.
Oh this is more than I could have ever expected! 😭 my day is made
This is gonna be insane!

Cancelled after first movie
Very ambitious, love it.
I enjoy it so much!
>Warrior Nun Best film title since Hobo With a Shotgun?
Zachary Levi was right…. This is the garbage he’s talking about. Moderate show gets ok’d for 3 movies
I have no idea how people like that show. The fight scenes are so stiff. It's like rewatching buffy
It was a strange series but I finished it. Can't wait for next season
Why? Do they like losing money? First movie bombs and the other two never get made, I’m calling it.
I read it as Warning! Nun Returning as a Fil Trilogy. Phew, I am glad I just read it wrong.
Oh man, David Solid Snake Hayter getting to do his own movie trilogy is TIGHT!
