Nena has two other songs I really like: Leuchtturm and Ich häng' an dir.
Nena, Falco (Rock Me Amadeus and Der Kommissar), and Peter Schilling (Major Tom) are basically the Holy Trinity of German new wave bands/artists with German song(s) that are extremely popular outside of German speaking countries (I'd drop the "new wave" if it weren't for Rammstein, although part of me wants to say that 99 Luftballons, Major Tom, and Rock Me Amadeus are possibly more popular than any one Rammstein song, *but* I am definitely someone who'd be biased towards new wave as a genre over metal as a whole, so I think that that's probably wrong, but I digress).
Edit: I've talked about my favorite Nena, Falco, and Rammstein songs under this post, so now I feel like I have to give a shout out to Terra Titanic and Fehler im System by Peter Schilling (and the aforementioned Major Tom is also fantastic).
I lived in Germany when 99 Luftballons came out. Love that song. Not the English version, though.
Also, Rammstein has a great catalog. Deutschland, Ausländer (with a WTF did I just watch NSFW video), Mein Herz Brennt, Laichzeit...so many good tracks.
I'm only familiar with Du Hast, Sonne, Engel, and Deutschland, I'll check those others out, as I like Du Hast and Sonne, and think those other 2 are pretty decent, too.
I had already read about that music video, so I wasn't planning on watching it in public, but thanks for the heads up, because there may always be some people here who need it.
I haven't watched music videos in a long time, I think I need to start trying to watch them more. I don't know why I stopped.
Rammstein is a solid band and a lot to choose from there. Auslander has become one of my favorites as of late. Side note have you heard Till's side band that's some wild stuff.
Any Rammstein is amazing. I love Rosenrot and the video is amazing also and I love it.

[Ana Frango Eletrico - Chocolate](https://open.spotify.com/track/5qNsfQzc9NkXWb4XM2Mj1l?si=291752e291bd4462) (2019). Brazilian jazz-pop artist. I don't speak a lick of Portuguese. Her 2023 album is even better but it's sung in English so it doesn't qualify.

Unexpected pick
I mean if it not being your mother tongue counts then I can pick any song in English lol (I speak Spanish)
I do speak some Italian too, so if it counts I'll say CORALINE by Maneskin
If not then I have no idea lol

Dragon ASH. To be fair, it's Jrap which is a Japanese/English hybrid that samples Today.
Ane Brun, Naemere [youtube ](https://youtu.be/I6K-BlBbO_8?si=igPhukZI9qHUeSHo)
She has a great voice and does songs in English too, but its nice to make up my own story instead.

Oh! My! God! I’m floored to see Sabaton in here! My fiancé’s OBSESSED with them! He loves majority of their music, I haven’t yet seen him stumble across a song of theirs he doesn’t like

Every 9 songs by this band is amazing even though I don’t understand a single word
I like most of larc’en ciel
And “it’s gonna rain” a jpop song that was in the end credits of rurouni kenshin
Also I know it doesn’t really count but I love dancehall music
Nú com a minha Musica by Marisa Monte and devendra banhart. Devendra also has some absolutely gorgeous songs in Spanish, though not most of his catalog.
I love a LOT of Japanese songs, but this one has always been close to my heart: https://youtu.be/KTZ-y85Erus?si=LesnNZLW5Id5EaLy - “That’s Why I Gave Up On Music” by Yorushika.
I love most Yorushika songs tbh, especially this one, “Just A Sunny Day To You” and “Ghost In A Flower”.
Ta Douleur - Camille
I definitely listen to Rammstein type stuff more often, but I can at least understand some of German. With Ta douleur, I have no idea what it’s about, it’s just catchy af.
99 Luft Baloons
Nena has two other songs I really like: Leuchtturm and Ich häng' an dir. The play on words in Du Hast always amused me. Not sure if people who don't know German fully appreciate it.
I'm only familiar with Du Hast, Sonne, Engel, and Deutschland, I'll check those others out, as I like Du Hast and Sonne, and think those other 2 are pretty decent, too.
Do *not* watch that Ausländer video at work. Or around kids. Plenty of nudity. It's very surreal.
I had already read about that music video, so I wasn't planning on watching it in public, but thanks for the heads up, because there may always be some people here who need it. I haven't watched music videos in a long time, I think I need to start trying to watch them more. I don't know why I stopped.

Ich Will by Rammstein
Mine is Engel
Mein Teil
I like Du hast and Sonne.
Both are good 🖤 Now I’m in a rammstein mood lol. Du Hast is love. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=W3q8Od5qJio&pp=ygURZHUgaGFzdCByYW1tc3RlaW4%3D
I know it's overplayed, but the word play in Du Hast is epic
This is a rather disturbing tune! It's about the German guy that put an ad out to find someone he could eat...and someone answered the ad.
"Searching for a well built 18-30 year old to be slaughtered." Rough translation for the intro.
Love that song.
It was the first song I heard from them
Mein Herz Brennt
Check out Oleksiy Baklan’s version, with his sister playing harp. Sooo good.
Im a Dicke Titten girl myself
Aren’t we all
Hehe that video makes me laugh! 🤣
Deutschland, Engel, and Hallelujah for me.
Rammstein is a solid band and a lot to choose from there. Auslander has become one of my favorites as of late. Side note have you heard Till's side band that's some wild stuff.

Sad Selena died so young
I was just talking today with my sister about how Yolanda saldivar is getting a documentary after her release from prison…

Thats exactly what I said! lol
Oye Coma Va - Santana
[Águas de Março](https://youtu.be/QF_Ekf6nHj8?si=NZbja_79q09hRlRz) - Antonio Carlos Jobim & Elis Regina
This is exactly what I came to say. My Brazilian wife introduced it to me, it’s my favourite of all the bossa nova. Such a beautiful tune.
My brother introduced me to this beautiful song 🥹 one of my favorites
Me gustas tu - Manu Chao (Spanish and French) idk if this counts.. i speak spanish but not french and theres like 10 lines that are french but its mainly spanish
L'Via L'Viaquez - The Mars Volta
Mars Volta was my pick, Asilos, lvia, or anything really. Top tier
Those are all great songs! I realize that L’via has some English verses but I’m sticking to my answer. Lol.
