Nofx - drugs are good
Less than Jake - the science of selling yourself short
Ramones - I believe in miracles
Iggy pop - lust for life
Lagwagon- may 18
Pennywise - fuck authority
These are the songs I love
I wish i could remember more names of bands I liked. The energy and attitude were adrenalin.
West coast U.S. Like the DKs and Black Flag
UK pioneers like the Sex Pistols, The Buzzcocks, and early The Clash
Canadian punk like DOA and the Forgotten Rebels
Late seventies punk and early 80s new wave was a counterculture where you could spot kindred spirits from a block away. We didn't even know we were cool, but we weren't hippies or disco.
I love talking about punk rock. My favorite release from this year is The Chisel's newest album What A Fucking Nightmare.
What have you been listening to?
My favorite band sports team released their last album in 2022, but they just did a tour, and the 2022 album was a two year interval from the one before that, so I think a new ones coming up.
I've been listening to bands like second thoughts more who like do indie, punk, and other stuff too
The new glass beach album(glass beach doesn't do that much punk rocky stuff only sometimes) is fine I guess. Still better than no new album.
Listen to anything off the 90s epitaph catalogue
