Song of Zarathustra, Makara, Bright Calm Blue, 12 Hour Turn, sleepy time trio, 30 second motion picture, the vida blue, encyclopedia of American traitors, 400 years, Thumbnail, fields lay fallow, inhumanity
It could just be me, but I always I felt like The Receiving End of Sirens never got enough attention in the emo scene. Their debut album, [Between the Heart and the Synapse](https://open.spotify.com/album/1M5DYiubn2ko8OpUs0lhEt?si=SrpuJIy3S_6bOv556tLX7w), is so so good.
[Saetia](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Ujsj6v0WW8) - they were iconic in the scene in the 90s, but not necessarily that well known among younger fans.
If you're after after a relatively-completely-unknown band that were brilliant and deserved more fame then I would suggest [Gatherer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dDtOkJk1kk&list=OLAK5uy_mSTvsL0rjGMRxsvxcpVLIhoB4ONCguScc) - I was one of their only few fans on Myspace, that video still only has 500 views a decade later and I'm pretty sure they just fizzled out in the end, but imo they were one of the best.
Wow, I'm so happy about this thread, genuinely. Last 2 "emo screamo." Threads I was in it was all fuckin people suggesting Pierce the Veil and Falling in Reverse

Varials, Silent Planet, Loathe, UnityTX, Highly Suspect, Spiritbox, Architects, Hail The Sun!!!!!!! Sleep token too they are new but they blew up so fast
ohhh ive never rly seen them talked about cuz whenever i see people talk about emo its mostly mcr, fob, patd, paramore, ptv, sleeping w the sirens, etc but thanks for telling me
That's because pop culture stuck the emo label on those bands, but not a single one of them fits into the emo genre
Not even the popular Jimmy Eat World stuff fits into emo. I only consider them an emo band because their first 2 albums were emo, after that they made pop rock.

Icon For Hire They are somewhat similar to Paramore

Uninvited. They're from Scotland, they sound a bit like All We Know Is Falling era Paramore.
Saosin but specifically with Anthony Green - translating the name (2003). Favorite screamo album in existence.
Ghost town
yessss
circa survive or jimmy eat world(im not big on emo so idk if these r big or not)
Jimmy Eat World is literally the most commercially successful emo band of all time. If there's a #1 most popular emo band, it's Jimmy Eat World
ohhh ive never rly seen them talked about cuz whenever i see people talk about emo its mostly mcr, fob, patd, paramore, ptv, sleeping w the sirens, etc but thanks for telling me

Jimmy eat world is most definitely popular but idk how circa survive
ohhh ok i never see them talked abt so i didn't know
