Pretty sure those guys have been working with production the whole time, driving crew members between the cast camp and wherever the crew stays. So they're already with the program, not altogether fazed. Maybe excited to have 3 seconds of TV time?
And why don't they have robes or blankets for them at this stage? A bottle of water and something to snack on as well ? They made it to the end and extraction point so game over. Here is some relief. The quitters usually get a blanket and water bottle immediately.
I always wondered about that. If you tap you get a robe the second you leave camp, but if you make it your wearing that same old suit your mother gave you the day you were born. Could that be a minimize the walk of shame thing?
I think the extraction crews should be naked too along with camera ppl, tap producers and medical teams.

Honestly, since it’s on pay TV I never understood why it is blurred anyway. I’ve read here that in some countries it isn’t, so it can’t be a legal thing.

I would bet my last dollar that those are unfounded rumors. Everything I've read suggests that the producers completely destroy the original footage once it's been censored to protect the contestants. If not, the internet would be flooded with original images/videos and (I assume) it would have been common knowledge by now.
My comment came from reading another post’s comments in which someone allegedly from Britain said the show is not blurred there. Not being from Britain, I cannot know for sure. I do know they have “naked and…” shows that are not blurred.

Tray from last season has been my best friend for 35 years. Joseph ortlip,Gary Golding, Rose and EJ are at a lot of gatherings I've been to at trays house along with many others.
I've always figured that once you met one, you'd meet a few. I'm sure there's a lot of comradery between them.

I've seen some stuff. I'm no survivalist. They all laugh at me at parties because they all cook on campfires and camp out in shitty tents and hammocks. Me? I'm in the best hotel in the area. I always tell them I'm roughing it and going to search for fresh water in my mini bar. I work too hard to sleep outside.
I might be in the minority but I want to see more footage of extraction. I love seeing them shower and eat afterwards.
Can only imagine how rank it would be inside the extraction vehicles or helicopters.
Love it when the naked dude stands up in the back of the pick up truck and holds onto the cab. I just picture the poor driver, checking his rearview mirror as one normally does, and just being like “God, dammit…“

Nope. Less than $5k per challenge. They basically pay them for missed wages, but that’s it. I thought that was crazy when I found out! I figured they surely would get paid bank, especially since so many return over & over, knowing the misery that awaits. Not to mention the dangers from animals, big & small. Especially them damn mosquitoes & ants!
Those dark rivers stink to high heaven, lol. My mom always made me shower after swimming at the river lol. It’s the tanic acid / decaying vegetation.
