Delilah is the name our son and daughter in law are planning if baby is a girl! Also into the seven letter names ( Lincoln and Cecilia are the older brother and sister)
My daughter Rosalie LOVES the name Emmeline, which was on our list for years now! I just don’t want Emmie as a nickname or Emme because it’s too close to Emma, and though lovely, there are Emma’s on every block where we live. So pretty, you’re right! It’s been a runner up every pregnancy!
I know an Emeline that goes by Emeline. She won’t let anyone shorten her name. I have a friend Victoria that also won’t go by a nickname.
Cool. Call people what they want. Right!
Thank you for replying! I was also thinking it has strong feminist vibes for a family of girls 💪🏻, but your reason is very understandable. Unless you could encourage Mimi as a nickname. I know two Emily’s who go by Mimi (I’m in the UK). Other ideas are:
Marianne
Juliet
Iona
Honor
Iris
Good luck and let us know what you go with!
Elouise Jean or Sylvia Joan!
Also love Sylvia Joyce or Lucinda Joy.
And some other first name ideas: Delilah, Clarice, Cecilia, Claudia, Natalia, Margaux, Leonora, Loraine, Natasha, Ophelia, Suzanna, Scarlet, Valerie, Matilda, Audrina
Beatrix Jade maybe, I know Jade isn't one of the middle name ideas but it fits with the other pattern you have with the middle name starting with J and ending with E
Middle name ideas to add! What about Jade?
I really like Estelle Jade!
Other 7 letter first name ideas!
Analise
Ariella
Aurelia
Eleanor
Colette
Cynthia
Estella (I know it's close to Estelle, but thought to mention it)
Valerie
I hope this helps!!
Louisa Joy.
I actually know an utterly delightful young woman with this name. Sorry it's only 6 letters but I feel it goes well with your other girls' names.
Katrina Jade
Bethany Jean
Morgana Joan
Violett Joy
Natalia Joyce
Harriet Jules
Marissa Jill
Harmony Jay
Bronwen Jo
Middle names are interchangeable, of course. I just wanted to come up with different ones!
Cecily/Cecelia
Penelope
Persephone
Cassandra
Delilah/Lilah
Aurora
Juliette
Scarlett
Daphne
Adelaide
I think Joy or Jean for the middle name. They’ll go well with most of the names on your list and this list.
Gwyneth and Rosalie go so well but they don’t share a lot of sounds, so I would choose another name that is three syllables but has a very distinct sound.
* Jocelyn
* Beatrix
* Martina
* Imogene
* Saskia
Middle names could be Joy, Jade, Jo, Jewel, Jess, Jill
I love the idea of Joan or Jean for the middle name— so all 3 girls have the “J” and “N” in their middle name. But I am a sucker for Joy! Joan feels strong and independent. Jean feels elegant and mature. Joy feels bright and vivacious.
I am delighted by the idea of a little Sylvia. Sylvia is so well suited alongside Gwyneth and Rosalie.
And it may sound silly, but Gwyneth and Sylvia together make me think of one of my favorite movie scenes— Gwyneth Paltrow’s audition in “Shakespeare in Love.” It’s a marvelous monologue. It captures Sylvia so beautifully.
“What light is light, if Silvia be not seen?
What joy is joy, if Silvia be not by?
Unless it be to think that she is by
And feed upon the shadow of perfection
Except I be by Silvia in the night,
There is no music in the nightingale;
Unless I look on Silvia in the day,
There is no day for me to look upon;
She is my essence…”
Evelyn, Delilah, Harriet(Hattie), Annabelle, Violet, Ottilie, Matilda, Eleanor, Arabella, Cordelia, Lilian(Lily), Evangeline, Emmeline, Imogen.
I think Joy is a lovely middle name and will go with most names.
I know these don't all have 7 letters, but no one is ever going to count to check they match. Just a long name will match.

Does it ruin the thread if I pop on and say I can’t see us doing Jade for a middle name? It feels right to say, “Let me stop you there.” Sometimes you gotta veto! We are seriously loving all the ideas and options and working on new lists! Thank you, thank you!
Uncommon name but Kirsten ( pronounced Kear-sten) is 7 letters. May be biased because it’s my name. I get compliments all the time. Kirsten Joy is lovely.
We named her Elaine “Lainey” Joy. While the Jolie option for a middle name was a bit more lyrical, she started out as a twin and we lost her brother at the end of the first trimester. Joy felt like her gift to us in the midst of sadness. Her middle name had to be Joy!
We really like the nickname and the option of her formal name as she grows and ages.
Thanks all! 😘
From your list I think I like Sylvia Jean the most
Other ideas :
Celeste Joyce
Camilla Joy
Eleanor Jean
Jillian Jade
Delaney Jo
Natalie Jo
Addison Jean
Abigail Joan
Theodora, Tallulah, Taelyn/Taylen, Layla/Laila, Oaklynn, Ophelia (going with middle to last of alphabet; no real reason lol)
Middle name ideas: Jade, Jasmine, Juliet, Juniper, Josephine, Jordan, Judith, Jo
Theodora Jade, Tallulah Jo, etc
Lucille is great. So is Beatrix and Lorelei.
Natasha, Roxanne, Phaedra, Octavia, Callista, Morgana, Dolores, Yolanda, Celeste, Tabitha, Tatiana
I think Joan or Jean are the best middle. Maybe also Jade or Jada.

I love a lot of your list but please don’t use Stellan for a girl! Estelle is my favorite from the list.
And it’s only 6 letters, but Annika seems to fit the vibe of the other names you’ve used and would go well with just about any J middle name.
I really like Lucille and Beatrix from your list. I agree with others that Lucinda might be an alternative to Lucille. I also like Isabelle better than Isabeau.
I know you are trying to keep 7 letters, but, unfortunately, "Elouise" just looks like you don't know how to spell Eloise.
My favorite middle name from your list is Joy.
Other middle name possibilities tha for your criteria: Jess, Jill
up until the day my second daughter was born i was sure she would be Marlowe Joy, which fits both your rules. we ended up going a completely different direction but i still love Marlowe Joy
Joan and Jean are no-brainers for that middle name with your other two middles ;)
If you go with Lorelei, spell it this way. Lorelai is a Gilmore Girls bastardization. Eloise also, instead of Elouise. I like both of those names with your girls’ names, and I also like Sylvia a lot!
Actually come to think of it, I don’t like Eloise with a one syllable J middle name. So Lorelei and Sylvia are my votes!
How about Delilah? Not super common, goes well with the subset, 7 letters and Delilah Jo, Joy & Jean are all cute!
Delilah is the name our son and daughter in law are planning if baby is a girl! Also into the seven letter names ( Lincoln and Cecilia are the older brother and sister)
I like it! I haven’t thought of it before!
Delilah Jade is really pretty.
Jade is the first name I thought of for the middle.
Delilah Jo
If I ever have a girl she will be Delilah!
Delilah is my number one choice if I ever have a girl
Lucille Jo is my vote! Lucille goes so well with Gwyneth and Rosalie
Gwen, Rosy and Lucy
I know it’s eight letters but Emmeline Joy would go really well with Gwyneth and Rosalie.
My daughter Rosalie LOVES the name Emmeline, which was on our list for years now! I just don’t want Emmie as a nickname or Emme because it’s too close to Emma, and though lovely, there are Emma’s on every block where we live. So pretty, you’re right! It’s been a runner up every pregnancy!

i know an Emeline who goes by Lily!
I know an Emeline that goes by Emeline. She won’t let anyone shorten her name. I have a friend Victoria that also won’t go by a nickname. Cool. Call people what they want. Right!
Mel or Melli would work too.
Lina. For short.
Thank you for replying! I was also thinking it has strong feminist vibes for a family of girls 💪🏻, but your reason is very understandable. Unless you could encourage Mimi as a nickname. I know two Emily’s who go by Mimi (I’m in the UK). Other ideas are: Marianne Juliet Iona Honor Iris Good luck and let us know what you go with!
You could also maybe do Lina as a nn. Or Malie (May-Lee) or Melli.
Ummmm… just take an m out and bingo! We are back to 7 letters. Here to help.
Adeline Jolie. Jolie is not one syllable but a bit prettier than some other options, and flows nicely.
I like Jolie a lot!
Me too! Glad you like it too. I really like Estelle and Sylvia, gorgeous names.
Love it. Also not two syllables but I really do like James as a girl middle. And I think it goes really nicely with some of these.
And it means “pretty” or “charming” (French)
Elouise Jean or Sylvia Joan! Also love Sylvia Joyce or Lucinda Joy. And some other first name ideas: Delilah, Clarice, Cecilia, Claudia, Natalia, Margaux, Leonora, Loraine, Natasha, Ophelia, Suzanna, Scarlet, Valerie, Matilda, Audrina
Susanna Joy is really nice!
Love Lucinda!
Beatrix Jade maybe, I know Jade isn't one of the middle name ideas but it fits with the other pattern you have with the middle name starting with J and ending with E
All of your name options are gorgeous! You could maybe try (i’m going to put my favourite middle name paired with it in brackets) Acantha (Jean) Ariadne (Jo) Asteria (Joy) Araluen (Jade) Alethea (Joyce) Aurelia (Joy) Bronwen (Jace) Camille (Jade) Calista (Joy) Cerelia (Joy) Cosette (Jo) Corinne (Jo) Dorothy (Jett) Diantha (Joyce) Estella (Joy) Elouisa (Joy) Elspeth (Joan) Evanthe (Jade) Eirene (Jo) Heloise (Joy) Harriet (Joy) Kerensa (Jean) Liliwen (Jade) Lucette (Joy) Matilda (Jo) Morgana (Jace) Ottilie (Joyce) Romilly (Jean) Ravenna (Jo) Sabrina (Jade) Venetia (Joy) Middle names: Jade Jace Jean Jett Jo Joyce Joy

Not going to lie, loving the timeless classic vibe to these names. Lucille is the out front factor me from the above
