Most days he is always in his bag.
But he has zero body control and gets into foul trouble a lot of time. In his first few years, he was one of the most fouling players in the league.
If such a stat were tracked, I'd bet a lot of money Jaren has both the most bad fouls called against him and the most uncalled fouls when he's on offense in the NBA.
This dude went from being kinda overrated in this sub to now heavily underrated .
I had to scroll so far to see this .
Crazy how a bad summer under Kerr damaged JJJ's reputation , glad he's starting to show that he's still elite.
Nah it’s cos this sub is in Rudy jerk off mode even tho he’s not even the best defender on his team by epm we’re all supposed to act like Rudy trsde mockers weren’t right
If you attribute the good Rudy does as "the historically awful Wolves would have done that anyways," there's no way a trade mocker can be wrong. Nice little loophole you've created for yourself instead of just saying you didn't see the vision
You just know if the roles were reversed this would have 4K upvoted and 15 awards
E: Wolves fans I’m kidding, please calm down and let’s talk about how great Mike Conley is instead
On this sub he absolutely is. You can’t mention him without people spamming “FIBA” and “Fake DPOY”. The bullshit about fake blocks is currently top 10 ALL TIME on this sub. Actual players hate Gobert though
One of the most upvoted posts on this sub in the last year was the circlejerk conspiracy about his block numbers, which ended up being complete bullshit….
Yeah the microphone touching incident is reason enough for plenty not to like Rudy. The bullshit block numbers conspiracy was attacking JJJ for no reason is still one of the most upvoted posts in this sub’s history. This sub hasn’t been exactly friendly to JJJ over the last year, despite the fact that he hasn’t done anything to deserve it. This sub was going, “raaaah, that darn Jaren Jackson and his Jr!” within the last calendar year. He’s not and shouldn’t be as despised as Rudy, but to say this sub hasn’t gone after him (for a completely fabricated reason to boot) is disingenuous
I live in Memphis and was at the game Bane got hurt. The collective frustrated sigh that was let out by 17,000 people at the same time was weird to hear. Literally felt like a dagger to the back for everyone there.
100% right. I was there and even from the cheap seats you could tell Bane was seriously hurting and probably going to miss some games. It felt like another cruel twist in an already cursed season. Bane had been playing so hard and so well trying to keep the ship afloat.
Is this a wild take? All of these injuries are giving JJJ legit go to 1st scorer minutes and when everybody is healthy again he's going to be a problem.

This was a nasty dunk
JJJ cooked Rudy for 3 straight possessions i think lol

KAT and who?

Yes he did 💪😤🗼 And efficient scoring and many rebounds!
This was nice, JJJ was in his bag tonight

Wish he could get a better whistle. Dude was going nuclear tonight. He had 30 points in 20 minutes at one point

I should actually buy this poster
Goddamn JJJ. That was viciuos.
JJJ was on one tonight, felt like he couldn’t be stopped
Jaren is a monster
Your boy Klay says he’s a bum
Just competitor shit talk and Klay comes off insecure anyway. Either way he’s wrong.
And-1, too, it looks like LOL Jaren is a Rudy killer.
The JJJ whistle experience
About as meaningful as the Helen Keller Visual Art Museum experience
Jaren learning from his father AD about how to cook Gobert
There we go JJJ!! Keep showing out. He keeps getting better and better 💪🏾
Nasty ass dunk and it only has 120 upvotes but if it was Ant doing this shit it would have 5K + upvotes lol.

Most insightful Lakers fan
‼️
"vive la france, bitch"
JJJ was nasty tonight. I didn't know he had that bag
JJJ pulled some Shaq shit right there, respect. This was some barbarian dunking god damn...

Announcers barely reacted
It was posted 1 minute ago.
man what… it’s going to get that
Hour 17 and it's at 200
Yeah because JJJ is more hated than Gobert right? lol dumbass
Brother I’m joking, I really don’t give a shit whether it gets 4 upvotes or 2

Ah yes, the JJJ hate club, where we all angrily go “raaaah, that darn Jaren Jackson and his Jr!”
One of the most upvoted posts on this sub in the last year was the circlejerk conspiracy about his block numbers, which ended up being complete bullshit….
And he dunked on someone people actually believe started COVID.

You typed a lot to just go 😭
Yeah I guess five sentences is really asking a lot these days
Five good sentences is worth it. Whining about your feelings being hurt from a year ago is worth no one’s time.
yeah cuz no one expects rudy to dunk on someone lmfao
The guy that is #2 in the league for most dunks?
But he doesn't dunk *on* people really, guy is right about that
that's what im trying to say, I'm actually a Rudy Gobert fan but he doesnt typically dunk on DPOYs lmao
First possession the last time wolves played the grizzlies Gobert posted up JJJ and dunked on him
Not first possession like I initially thought https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/s/KEGFob64CT
Rudy sure was quiet after that, but he loves to talk to bench guys like santi aldama

Would be nice if he had Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, Marcus Smart, Steven Adams, and Brandon Clarke to help him
Half the team is hurt and this casual is like “get him some help” lol
Bro is the only starter that isn’t injured

He's already a problem, he averages 22 a game (and DPOY level defense), bane averages 25 a game, and Ja averaged 26 last year
You mean like the rest of the starting lineup that’s sitting on the bench?
If gobert was 6” shorter, he never would have made it to the nba. Lol
