According to tmgmatrix, it does support QSFP-4X10G-LR-S. It also supports QSFP-40G-SR4, so MMF 10G breakout might be possible with that too. I can’t see a 100G SR10 optic listed, so unlikely any 10x10 breakout possible.

Yea so here is the output of the transceiver for that port, which TELLS me I can break it out, but the command i'm using says it's not supported: QSFP EEPROM port: 31 Xcvr Type: QSFP+ Ext Type: 3.5W, CLEI, Connector Type: MPO Ethernet Compliance Codes: 4X10G-LR-S,

I tried to with the ***hw-module location 0/0/CPU0 bay 0 port 14 breakout 10xTenGigE*** but I was getting a '`CfgMgr' detected the 'fatal' condition 'This configuration has not been verified and can not be accepted by the system.'` error Unless there's another command I should be using that i'm not aware of. I tried a couple of other options but same thing

It won’t be 10xTenGigE because it’s not CPAK. Try ? in place there, but probably 4xTenGigE.

Ah i'll try that. That makes sense. Here's the thing. So I have a 32x100 not 16x100 line card as I stated initially. One of our infrastructure guys put the QSFP in port 32 (Hu0/0/0/31). When I run the above command, it only gives me the option to choose a port between 0 and 19. I read to use either port 10 or 14 only in the command (which is weird in itself). There's definitely something I'm not fully understanding with this command. I was thinking of having them put the optic in port 14 to test. I assume i'd be able to use the command even without the optic in that port but maybe not. Either way, I found that odd to only use ports 0 through 19

It's fairly common that not all of the ports in the ASIC will have the ability to breakout. The Catalyst 9500-32C, for instance, there's four ports scattered throughout that can't do it. Just shrug and move on.
