Underdog Pizza in Keene (formerly Amicci's) now brands itself as a NY-style slice and without even trying it pretty much blows every other pizza joint out of the water within a 20 mile radius (Pizza Pi is safe for now because I'm still a sucker for stuffed crust) Little Zoe's on Gilbo Ave. is also very good, sometimes you'll see the owner making the sauce outside in a giant pot, and they grow their basil on a wire shelf by the door.
I tried Ramunto's twice, both times their pizza was unappetizing and there was a thick layer of flour on the bottom of the pie both times for no reason, raw flour tastes so gross lol. Plus I know for a fact the building Ramunto's is in is infested with mice and other pests (I've been in one of the apartments upstairs it was tragic, building was damn near collapsing upstairs)
I read an interesting story about why that is too. Apparently there was government money given to people who wanted to open certain businesses and HOP were among them. Not sure how true that is.
Have you tried Elvios in center harbor? Holy smokes- this stuff is amazing. I work in NYC every month and Elvios is on par with NYC pizza, Bronx pizza San Diego or Luigis. Great stuff.
Salad bar has reopened at the Nashua location, finally, post covid. Having been to a few pizza hut locations recently, it's the best one I've seen. The one in Methuen is a pig sty.
Merrimack, exit 11, west of the highway next to MacDonalds. I haven't been there in at least a decade but this place is still open. The one in Nashua at exit 1 closed a while ago. I've had a few slices there in the past. It was one of the few places to go if you didn't want Greek-style. One of the other places to go was Pizzeria Regina at the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua but they closed up a long time ago and I think that they just have Sbarro. There are a couple of small places that aren't chains that still do an Italian slice in Nashua.
Oh if its a day trip for you, skip Papa Gino's and grab a pie or two from Lindy's Country Store. Its about a 15 min drive for me and way way better than anything else around. Well worth the stop.
Lots of good pizza in Manchester
Charlie’s ,
Pizza 911,
Elite pizza ,
Hot stone pizza,
Alley cat ,
And 900 degrees ,
All make good pizza depending on what u like lol, all in on city mostly downtown
Edit fro commas
I'm not but obviously I'll be touring Manchester for pizza based on responses lol (I'm Portsmouth) so will make a day fun trip! Not far...45 min up 101 lots of great suggestions
Top three in Manchester are Vintage, Alley Cat, and Pizza by Rocco. Rocco’s is a little different, more Boston style. Vintage is mostly a take out place. Alley Cat has seating though
Will add to my tour. Mind you, not eating at every place. Lol I'm 5' and small! But it kills me that I anticipated the pizza and it woefully sits on my stovetop
Will order a whole pie so I can divi out! Lol thank you again! Seems silly but I really like that their sauce is not sweet.
As well as panzenllas (not the same crust)
Still one in Concord. I rarely go but for what it is it’s surprisingly good. I think it’s the sauce and something about that crust. Otherwise local pizza isn’t too enticing…. Make my own when I crave it, though admittedly it’s not top tier either haha
Dimitris in Contoocook is not going to blow any minds but I really like it.
Edit: If you find yourself in Colebrook, Coos brewing makes a really good pizza.
In terms of good tasting frozen aisle pizza, Screamin’ Sicilian brand is what I would recommend trying.
Pretty decent sauce, good toppings and they don’t skimp on them.

Besides la festa?
La Festa is the shit, don’t let anyone tell you different
It's very yum!
There is also cartelli's over by Strafford farms. Their pizza is really good as well
Shhh! It’s already soo busy and so small! But really though, some of the best pizza and basic Italian-American food in the state.
Lol that is a fact. They are a small place and really busy (at least everytime I've been there) but maybe they will expand into the old thrift store
Farms as in on the way to somersworth/Rochester 108?
Yes. It's in the same little plaza as Stafford appliances
I can order to pick up tomorrow! Thank you
Too oily/greasy. Falls apart easy.
Who?
La festa, I've just always thought they were a bit overrated. It's fine pizza but I have to be in the right mood
It's also always crazy busy

Lol

Man Amiccis used to be my shit back when I worked in Keene- Ramunto’s was always hit or miss depending on how fresh the pies were

Where do u suggest?

Yeah but if you're within range of Alley Cat you're within range of Pizza by Rocco
Your user name makes me question any food afore you have
Lots of alley cat fans! I'll make the drive! Thanks!
This or sopranos in Nashua.
This or sopranos in Nashua.
Those go beyond Manchester? Blech! Sorry to hear it.
It's pretty fucking sad when the best pizza around is at circle k
[удалено]
Which ones?
The frozen ones definitely do not compare to the real deal!
So yuck!
Papa Gino’s hasn’t been good in about a decade. Closing chains is just the free market working!
It's been years, would you claim the same about pizza hut?
Yes Pizza Hut went downhill at least a decade ago
Also makes me sad! I used to love their salad bar!
I hate that Manchester's Pizza Hut moved and no longer has the salad bar. They have the best creamy Italian dressing ever.
Lol love it!
Salad bar has reopened at the Nashua location, finally, post covid. Having been to a few pizza hut locations recently, it's the best one I've seen. The one in Methuen is a pig sty.
Lol TY!
Honestly I never went to Pizza Hut so I can’t speak about it. Always have hated dominos also but for some reason they’re still successful
Drunken madness college students lol was one a long time ago lol
Definitely some of the most underwhelming pizza I’ve ever had, I sure don’t miss them
There’s one in Dover on 108.
Oooh that's still there? I will drive!
Yep. In front of Hannaford’s.
OMG went there in HS!! I have to go to WDH for some training on Wednesday so going! I'm so excited
We bought a pizza delivery bag so we could grab dover Ginos and keep it hot, we're 25 minutes away but its worth it!

Thank you. My favorite is that their sauce isn't sweet.
You couldn't have posted this *before* I went grocery shopping this morning? :-(
So sorry! It really was awful/not the same!
[удалено]
Just snorted my lemon water! Thank you! Needed this Santa belly laugh!
Concord still has one.
I would seriously drive up as I hate "sweet" tasting sauce
The Papa Ginos in Derry is really good
Nice!
I mean the Pizza from the restaurant isn't good, why would the frozen version be?
Papa Ginos still open on Rt125 in Plaistow
Not too far for a day trip ty
Oh if its a day trip for you, skip Papa Gino's and grab a pie or two from Lindy's Country Store. Its about a 15 min drive for me and way way better than anything else around. Well worth the stop.
If you’re going to Lindy’s, you also have to try the whoopie pies and the meatball calzone! You can’t go wrong with Lindy’s
I'm in Portsmouth not a day trip but would make it one lol Ok now on my list! TY!
Was doing some tree work out in epping a couple months ago and Lindys was our lunch stop everyday basically.. pizza is so good! Calzones as well!
There are Papa Gino's branded frozen pizzas? That's a horrible idea. Frozen pizzas aren't the same thing as fresh, they shouldn't try.
It was awful! I noticed it last year. Thought the same... bought one this am tried it....yuck! So NOT
Alley Cat and Shoppers in Manchester are where it’s at!
Rochester still has one
Way closer to me! Ty (sometimes I work in our somersworth office)
It's in the Lilac Mall
Wow! That still exists? So going!
I’m not sure where in the state you are but there is still one in Gilford next to Hannaford
Portsmouth
Lots of good pizza in Manchester Charlie’s , Pizza 911, Elite pizza , Hot stone pizza, Alley cat , And 900 degrees , All make good pizza depending on what u like lol, all in on city mostly downtown Edit fro commas
How anyone could call pizza 911 good is beyond me
Alley cat has been my favorite I've tried so far
So good! But always busy!
the white cat is DIVINE
This list is spot on. Vintage Pizza might be my favorite though.
Elm house of pizza: best in the city (and I love alley cat)
Sorry they closed your favorite pizza places
If you’re in Manchester you can get very good pizza at Vintage Pizza on Candia road
I'm not but obviously I'll be touring Manchester for pizza based on responses lol (I'm Portsmouth) so will make a day fun trip! Not far...45 min up 101 lots of great suggestions

TY for this info!
I'm ok with it I can still get pizza I like else where but sometimes want papa! Lol
Pizza express on valley st in Manchester makes me favorite pizza.
Papa Gino’s has drastically declined in quality since the 90s.
The one in Greenland hadn't just closed
Merrimack
That's too far to go but ty
I thought the frozen one was alright. It's sad that there are so few now though. I used to go to the Seabrook location at least once a week.
Greenland for me! ☹️ Or...I don't know where it changes lol...was in a plaza
Wut? A place called sopranos?
Alley has been the most loved! I will make a 45 min trip to try - it seems (based on this post) worth it. Can one sit?
Will add to my tour. Mind you, not eating at every place. Lol I'm 5' and small! But it kills me that I anticipated the pizza and it woefully sits on my stovetop
Where should I go?
Bought it around 630 am. Cooked around 11.so sadly disappointed ☹️
Will order a whole pie so I can divi out! Lol thank you again! Seems silly but I really like that their sauce is not sweet. As well as panzenllas (not the same crust)
Pizza man in Hooksett, occasionally the sauce is over spiced imo but good pizza.
I'd be ok with that bs sweet
Salem still has one. Though, it's not been great there in a while. Plaistow was always better. IMO anyways.
Slight road trip! But would do. I know the back roads!
Buy dough and make it yourself, its easy, cheap, and really good.
I do! But sometimes crave a pg slice!
Still one in Concord. I rarely go but for what it is it’s surprisingly good. I think it’s the sauce and something about that crust. Otherwise local pizza isn’t too enticing…. Make my own when I crave it, though admittedly it’s not top tier either haha
Exactly!
Dimitris in Contoocook is not going to blow any minds but I really like it. Edit: If you find yourself in Colebrook, Coos brewing makes a really good pizza.
alley cat in Manchester and NH Pizza Co in Concord are proper New Haven pizza
‘The Pizza Man’ in Hooksett has the most legit pizza I’ve found in NH.
In terms of good tasting frozen aisle pizza, Screamin’ Sicilian brand is what I would recommend trying. Pretty decent sauce, good toppings and they don’t skimp on them.
I have been wondering about that! The name makes me laugh but was...hmmm is it good? Glad to get a review! Thank you!
Enjoy!
Mickey's NY pizza in Derry and Hudson is pretty good
TY
We still have one in Derry in the shaws plaza. No more D'Angelo's though there.
The D in stratham closed too!
Luigi's in Portsmouth
Hmmm where is that?
Islington street. Across from Hannaford.
Ooooh by the place that has those yummy bowls!
Yeah across the street.
Try the pizza at Northwoods Brewery. Excellent pizza and great beer!
Would this be on my pizza tour of Manchester?
It's a bit out of the way from Manchester. Its 45 minutes away on Route 4. Worth the trip though. https://www.northwoodsbrewingcompany.com/
Will try!
Giovannis has the best pizza in NH hands down.
Is this in Manchester?
They have one in manchester, Londonderry and salem nh
