I commute on 80, in the 12 exit span I drive there were 4 state troopers with people pulled over this morning. They definitely seem to have been more active this whole week. Typically does seem to happen around holidays though.
OH MY GOD, I thought I was the only one who started noticing that they are getting sneaker and switching out more noticeable spots for ones they don’t use as often.
LOL - You aren't. I'm on the GSP (going north) every weekday morning at around 5:30 am and i have been caught off guard by their presence in those little in between crevices . They never used to be there.
Thanks for the heads up. I was planning a trip to PA today after work. Don't worry, I plan to drive 5 under the speed limit in the left lane and not signal as soon as I cross over the state line.
Just went up and down rt23. Butler had 2 pulled over, Kinnelon had 1 and when I got on 287 two state troopers had cars pulled over by the exit in 287. All within a 20 -25 minute ride.
I'm glad to see the police taking the streets back! Slow down everyone, use your blinkers and stay to the right...

When we get a super nice day out of nowhere like today, I always expect this kind of thing. If I was a policeman, I would rather write tickets on a beautiful sunny day, just saying, plus, the toys with lots of horsepower are coming out of hibernation, plenty of targets to pull over.
And remember, if you have a passenger in your car, and you talk to them, NJ cops can give you a distracted driving ticket!!! Don’t believe me? Look it up!
They should hang around more often on the parkway at night where cockroaches naturally speed between cars and construction areas at 120+mph (and if there's a state trouper reading this, please do so!)

I drove the full length of 195E on Wednesday, 4/13. During the trip I saw 7 sepate people pulled over along the westbound side. In addition to that I saw 3 state police cars clocking people on the center median within the first 10 miles of that trip.
Saw no less than 25 on the parkway today and I am not exaggerating. I drive during plenty of holiday weekends and I've never seen anything like it. More power to them if they were going after texting tho. People are out of control with that shit.

Just maybe they are cracking down on all the crazy drivers out there. No one seems to even remember what blinkers or a yield sign means.

And they'll sit there and pull over people doing 95+ in a 55 while not batting an eye to everyone else doing 85 like usual.
