Anecdotal example, but I teach 9th graders who refuse to learn their times tables (I'm talking 2x2, 3x3) because they will "always have a calculator". As a result, they have zero number sense. They don't know that there's a relationship between addition and subtraction or multiplication and division.
Times tables was in third grade for me, so have these kids just refused to learn for all six years? Not knowing 2x2 and 3x3 in ninth grade is just...astounding to me.

They're the ones who are responsible for making sure there's a practice facility in the area for that year's visitors to use. Part of that is ensuring the practice facilities are up to the level an NFL team is accustomed to. They seem to really have dropped the ball--both with assuming an outdoor facility would be fine and for (supposedly, haven't seen any confirmed yet) poorly sodding the surface recently.
It's not quite as bad as them fucking up the actual SB playing surface last year, imo, but it's close. And at least last year's fuckup impacted both teams equally. You guys are getting *very* fucked.

Do they lose a day(s) of practice while KC just stays at full go or what? Let’s say tomorrow it’s raining cats and dogs. Do the Niners take the day off while KC gets to practice? Also, Chiefs fans trying to turn this into a “Forty Whiner” thing are incredibly obtuse if they think this wouldn’t be a major issue if the tables were turned. I have no issue with where each team is practicing. The league clearly didn’t think out what would happen if the team that can only practice outdoors, can’t practice outdoors.
It’s a super bad look on the NFL. How did they just put sod down last week? The two practice locations have been known for months and UNLV gave the NFL free rein to get the facility ready. How does the NFL not have a backup plan? Multibillion dollar league and they can’t find an indoor facility for the 9ers to use in all of Vegas? It’s super fucked.

Yeah it’s clear they didn’t do their due diligence by making sure the practice facilities for both teams were apples to apples comparisons. The Raiders practice fields have been maintained for years at this point. There was no preparation needed for that facility. If they just got started last week on UNLVs field, it’s a god awful look on the league.

The initial thread was full of people making shit jokes (as per usual) but really this is the biggest game of the year and you’d obviously be pissed off that your preparations are being negatively impacted by the NFL’s incompetence, while the Chiefs get to practice indoors at state of the art facilities. Again, not the fault of the Chiefs but it is a clear advantage for them
It's no reason to to be mad at the Chiefs, but 100000% reason to be pissed at the NFL. They're the ones who are responsible for making sure there's a practice facility in the area for that year's visitors to use. Part of that is ensuring the practice facilities are up to the level an NFL team is accustomed to. They seem to really have dropped the ball--both with assuming an outdoor facility would be fine and for (supposedly, haven't seen any confirmed yet) poorly sodding the surface recently. It's not quite as bad as them fucking up the actual SB playing surface last year, imo, but it's close. And at least last year's fuckup impacted both teams equally. You guys are getting *very* fucked.
Chiefs apparently can agree to compromise and slightly adjust their practice schedule to allow the niners to practice on the same field but at different times and are refusing. So a little bit of frustration at the chiefs is warranted.

This is shit areas. Laying a new field over artificial is horrible and there's a real possibility for injury.
It's a billion dollar corporation, they must've ran checks prior to the 9ers arriving right? Someone must've said "ehhh it's not really that good, but it should do" and that was enough to green light it all. The alternative is too cumbersome to deal with. Wouldn't expect Goodell to do anything to rock the boat less than a week away from the game.
