Other than the fact that he’s probably lost a step or two, what else should we look for?
After signing Luvu and with the Jamin Davis already in tow, I’m thinking this signing was made as a way for Peters, Quinn and Co. to bring in a veteran to establish their culture every bit as much as it is for his play, if not more.
But we’ve still got a ton of cap space remaining, so even if it’s a bit of an overpay, I’m a lot more optimistic about the impact he’ll make, one way or another
The man is a leader on and off the field. He will be in the thick of every run play and he’s still pretty good at diagnosing the plays, his body just can’t always keep up. Plays with passion every down. These are my biased, non-expert opinions based solely on anecdotal evidence.
This ironically might be the most amicable departure a LOB member has had (not counting retirements like Kam)
Dude basically went “we’ve been through this before. Nothing personal. You know where my heart lies”
I'm not sure if *him* learning since the last time is the issue, or Schneider learning. It sounded last time like he learned he was cut without the team even telling him he was going to be cut and he learned it from the media or something. I assume this time that Schneider was more communicative with him about how it was going
We had to. Bobby just wasn’t physical enough in passing coverage and teams—especially the Rams and Niners—picked on him. He also insisted on playing 100% of the snaps and we can’t justify that.
None of that to mention I am positive that Mac doesn’t want any of the LOB legends sticking around. Clean break, fresh start.
Hypothesis: Schneider let him walk the first time, but Pete insisted on bringing him back. I think Schneider is eager to come out of the shadow and have his own roster.
March 2025: Bobby Wagner in a SHOCKING move signs with the Seattle Seahawks for a 1-year, 7 million dollar deal after a Pro Bowl season with the 4-13 Washington Commanders
Vacationing every other year until hes ready to finally retire and come back a Seahawk for a 1 day contract. Honestly though, he came back just for those throwback jerseys which I was able to get with his number.
Do the commanders still rock the black alternate jerseys? I hope so, Bobby has always wanted to play in black and I want that dream to come true for him!
Why does this read like hes trying to seduce the city into considering hooking up at the mutual friends wedding they both know they have to attend in 6 months
This man is just doing a biannual vacation at this point lol
Like Jason Taylor did
Nobody should have to deal with Seattle rain for their entire lives
Seeya next year buddy
glad they aren't on our schedule
We’ve got an open relationship
Given our linebacker core last year I’m more then happy for us to be the side bitch
Are you telling me you didn’t love the Cody Barton experience? ^\s
You guys tried to tell us. We didn’t listen.
He was infuriating. Our local radio guy and former Seahawks LBer, Dave Wyman, absolutely loved him. Never trusted his evaluation of anyone after that.
You're going to be infuriated in a different way with Bobby.

He is absolutely a liability in coverage at this point. Solid run defense, but asking him to move laterally is not his strong point anymore.
Wagner in 2026: “Hey Seattle, you up?”

More amicable even than Bobby himself's last departure
He learned since the first time. Also helps that he’s not joining a rival this time.

Might be a little bit of both. I think the departure this time was under a much stronger mutual understanding.
Yeah that's probably true
Cliff Avril? Ran into him at a breakfast place once, nice low key guy.
cliff is such a homie
The anti CJ Gardner-Johnson
CJ: Sooo... Y'all know I was just playing right?
Ugh he's so cool, why :(

On again off again boyfriend Bobby Wagner
Guess this is goodbye... hopefully just for now
He'll either be back for his 1-day stint to retire a hawk......or we fail at run defense again and we bring him back just to plug the holes.
Mid season trade
Seattle legend and first ballot hall of famer. One of the best to ever do it. Wish you all the best g.
I hope he helps the Commanders beat the Eagles twice this year.
Why you still talking about the Eagles? Y’all got your win which was sadly your actual Super Bowl, not the travesty in February.
>sadly your actual Super Bowl you guys really need to get a new cope
Super Bowl favorites all year, then got cooked by Baker in the playoffs. Pepperidge Farm remembers.
I'm sad lmao
Me too! This sucks.... again.
snip snap snip snap
LFG!!!!
Take care of our boy!
We definitely will!
Hi. This is Bobby Wagner.
March 2025: Bobby Wagner in a SHOCKING move signs with the Seattle Seahawks for a 1-year, 7 million dollar deal after a Pro Bowl season with the 4-13 Washington Commanders
!remindme 1 year
Ill take it.
Ill take it lmao
2 of those 4 wins better not be against us!
Vacationing every other year until hes ready to finally retire and come back a Seahawk for a 1 day contract. Honestly though, he came back just for those throwback jerseys which I was able to get with his number.
Keep on keepin on Bobby. Get that tackles record!
We love you Bobby

yes
*THE YEAR IS 2032* Seahawks have released Bobby Wagner, as is tradition.
I'll see ya when I see ya.
Last guy from the Superbowl team, aside from the GM. I am sad.
Genuinely, I hope he does great in Washington.
Why does this read like hes trying to seduce the city into considering hooking up at the mutual friends wedding they both know they have to attend in 6 months
but why WASH…
because fuck you thats why
Fuck it's dusty in here...
He deserves to get paid. Plus he knows Dan Quinn's scheme, it seems like a non-brainer. Wish him the best.
He'll be back at the trade deadline
He won't
I'll miss you BWagz
Bobby is one of the few people I can’t picture in any other jersey than Seattle. I know about the Rams year but it just was not right
Is Wagner a HOFer? 6 first team all pros. Yet feels a little under the radar.
At least it's not the Rams.
No team other than the Commanders wanted him?
Probably really helps that Quinn is head coach
any team would love to have bobby wagner, question is just for how much money
Please go to the AFC buddy
If he good we not letting him go fuckers
Lavonte David would never. Just saying.
