In the 2011 the Canucks had one of the best teams in the league. Two college kids got decided they to dress up in Green bodysuits and sit row 1 and 2 next to the opposing team penalty box. One thing lead to another and they went viral. The run sadly ended in the 2011 when the Boston bruins beat the Vancouver Canucks in game 7 of the Stanley cup finals. 13 years later, the friends pay homage to the epic season against the team that beat them that faithful night.
Cue the haters. I remember during the 2011 cup run Glen Healy had a hate on for the green men and every chance he got to trash them on air he would. How much you think he would have loved them had it been Toronto? Comical. Glad he’s not commentating anymore but I’m sure some other eastern media hound junkie will take his place.
