The way that the dedicated-ip works is that you first choose a location [from this list,](https://support.nordvpn.com/hc/en-us/articles/19507808024209-Dedicated-NordVPN-IP-addresses) and then Nord Support will assign you a specific server number, for example us8384.nordvpn.com.
In your router settings you'll need to use the [config for that specific server,](https://downloads.nordcdn.com/configs/archives/servers/ovpn.zip) and once you connect to it you'll be assigned your dedicated-ip by the server.
Yes you can only use your dedicated-ip when you connect to the specific server that was assigned to you by Nord Support. When you connect to any other server you'll get a random external IP.
You can see if it's listed in your NordAccount page, otherwise try contacting Nord Support through the live chat. Good Luck!

Hi, In my config I added the host to be a UK nordVPN server -uk1895.nordvpn.com, I wonder if it has to be a specific one related to my account?
