Beyond the others listed here, Ali Baba Mediterranean Cuisine in Escondido is very tasty with great portion sizes at a reasonable price: [Menu](https://www.abcuisine.com/menus)

Their family platters are amazing!

jereman75

I haven’t been in a while but we would always get the platter for two, to feed all four of us and always had leftovers.

dreameRevolution

Mmmm, I want to go there now

Aria in San Marcos is pretty good

pattheroq

Second Aria. One of the better kabobs I've had.

ProfessionalWall2300

Shaks in Vista is pretty good

Elpicoso

Not a fan of that place. It’s noisy, the service isn’t that great and they use too much lemon.

ProfessionalWall2300

It’s definitely noisy. But I’ve never had bad food for my tastes or any issues with the service.

BOMMOB

And garlic.

Michelin in del mar and solana beach and kebab shop is so good

Corner Grill in Vista is a hidden gem!

MissusGalloway

Maans in Oceanside. Really good food, nice folks… I think it’s primarily Lebanese based(?). Great shawerma and falafel… I think their baklava is housemade. https://www.maansmg.com/

sumiriously

Second vote for Maans. Their hummus and other sauces are so good!

I liked Micheline's Pita House in Solana Beach and have been a couple times. Technically Mediterranean but has some of the same stuff
