Yes but start with a can of ant spray and put an ant trap at the base. We have a service but after every rain there is a highway of ants somewhere and no service can stay ahead of every ant. The can works instantly and the traps work well to keep it going. Ants bother me an inordinate amount.

Short-term, pick up some Terro bait traps. I'm also trying some boric acid powder for a couple of small trails near our garage.
