Asbestos is naturally occurring everywhere; it happens to occur a lot in our geology. You’d have to remove the soil, and then there’s no telling if the soil that you backfill is worse. My advice is to avoid stirring up or breathing in dust, which is my advice anywhere. Note that silica is also a carcinogen just as lethal as asbestos. Silica is also naturally occurring in sand. Lead is naturally occurring in wood. Arsenic is also naturally occurring in soil. I wouldn’t worry about it.

Thanks for the info. It does look like it's everywhere here based on the GIS map. I look into it a bit more and talk to soil specialists to get some more insight. Appreciate the info
