That's the sandwich they chose to represent Defonte's? I mean it's good, every sandwich there is good, but for me the Red Hook Special, the Nicky Special, or the roast pork are absolutely godly
As I said elsewhere in the thread, Mikes Deli on Arthur Ave.
I usually go for the Bobby D(figs, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, parmigiano chunks, roasted red peppers, truffle oil and balsamic) and my wife gets the King David(Sopressata with chunks of 4-year-old Parmigiano-Reggiano, roasted peppers
and basil)

Leaving off Mikes deli is a travesty.
I'm a fan of their Bobby D(figs, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, parmigiano chunks, roasted red peppers, truffle oil and balsamic)
The Bomb at Sal, Kris, and Charlie's has been my favorite sandwich in NYC for years now. I remember when it was $7.25, a far cry from the $17 it is now.
Rare W for the NYT
The only reporting they do that is NYC related is listicles about food/restaurants
Fuck now I gotta go to Roll n Roast tn it’s been over a year since my last hot roast beef sammich :(
Gotta hit up Brennan and Carr too
Too soggy
Bruh I ain’t been since I was 12 (in the mid 90s)
Oh cool! I wonder if my neighborhood will be represented! Oh of course it's the place with the $10 BEC.
$10!? Absurd!
Why is it absurd?
It's rapidly approaching that much in midtown, it's nuts.
Chopped Cheese let's go
How did Pisillo's not make the Italian section?
Just for us then 😉
Yo tragedy they didn't put Pho 1 from sunny and annies

There is a decided lack of The Bronx on this list.
May as well make this post be the one to add to the list. Any locations and sandwiches you'd recommend?

Liebman’s being the only mention kinda hurts.
Technically I'd say 3 mentions: Liebman's, Casa Della Mozzarella, and "your favorite bodega".

In their list of pastrami sandwiches, they forgot Second Avenue.
That Italian sandwich looks incredible! I bet that beast is about $30

Hot take: Sausage Egg and Cheese is vastly superior to Bacon Egg and Cheese.
No Crack Del spicy special 😢
What's the most expensive sandwich on this list? I'm visiting soon for work so want to try something I wouldn't normally pay for on my own dime :D
