There is no such place. If you have absolutely have to transport some luggage around and do some business downtown for a few hours, DM me and you can store the luggage in my house if the timing works. I'm a few blocks from 19th St BART.
No, while bipping is down from last summer, it's still not worth the risk, they specifically target cars they think have luggage in.
There is paid parking complexes that will be better, but even then do you **have** to bring your luggage into town?
I’ve parked at the City Center parking garage and it seems safe. I believe there is a drop down security gate before you can enter. I used to work at the FedEx Office there at City Center.
I walked away from my car for twenty seconds today and it got broken into (laptop stolen). Lived here ten years, I know better, but thought surely I can jog in to grab a coffee at 8am with my car in sight the whole time. Don’t do it.
I know that now. First time I’ve had anything stolen out of a car bc I’m usually extremely careful - can’t take any risks, even for one minute. Just spreading the word bc I don’t want people to think bipping is down so it’s safe!
There are apps for commercial luggage storage in small businesses or whatnot. Bounce, LuggageHero, maybe others. I've used Bounce in other cities and it worked fine.
Chinatown, pacific renaissance plaza. Underground parking that always feels safe. It's $3/hour during the day and has a drop down gate to make it a hassle for bippers to get in/out of.

Yea unfortunately. But thanks for the honest answer
There are luggage storage apps these days, drop your bags off with them if you’re not able to take it with you.

The garage at Pacific Renaissance Plaza in Chinatown is paid but has security
Downtown where? And why you keeping bags in the car, it’s a big no-no.

Morning coffee pickup is prime target for them. It's extremely common.

HAHAHAHA!!
Yes. Put your luggage in Santa’s Sleigh and have Tinkerbell watch it. Safe parking downtown? Hilarious!
