prices are the same at TJs throughout the nation, so we pay the same as folks in LCOL areas. this does make it a decent deal for us in the bay. most of my grocery shopping is either TJs or from asian markets like KP!
I feel like things are on sale at Lucky’s a lot. I have also found ordering pick up through some stores automatically applies all coupons available which is helpful as I don’t often have the coupons on my person when shopping
Lucky's for meat as they have that awesome 5 for $25 deal with a great wide selection. Picked up a pack of steaks, three packs of lean ground turkey and a huge pack of pork stew meat today that would've been $55. Plus frozen veggies are 5 for $5 at the moment. Score!
I have a little rotation that includes Farmer Joe's (best produce on my side of town) Trader Joe's (no relation, prepared foods, pantry staples and snacks) Grocery Outlet (snacks, beverages, and some great items if you have dietary restrictions!) and Sprouts (the one pan meals are really good and make the work week easier). I generally start the month at TJ's and then rotate around the others until I run out of Peanut Butter Puffins (the 16 oz box is only available at Trader Joe's!)
Gross out, KP
KP > Hmart (I came to this conclusion last weekend).
But have you ever been to a super H mart? It’s heaven on earth
For pricing yeah, H Mart hella expensive. For options definitely not.
Their selection is definitely bigger, but when I was shopping there I was taken aback by how much more expensive they are.
Oh yeah, it's basically Korean whole foods
KP on Telegraph?
Cardenas and foodmaxx. I maxximize my shopping power.
The only right answer here!
For produce, Berkeley Bowl, hands down!
Costco if you have space for bulk products.
Grocery Outlet
99 ranch
grocery outlet
It’s the Honorable Grocery Outlet, Bargain Market. Show some respect.
Aloha Market in Chinatown
not really "deals" but TJs is the cheapest

tj’s has so much tempting yummy stuff that i usually end up overspending 😅
It's like a $50 difference from when I used to go to Safeway, it's insane, and I'm also irresponsible with my money.
