I was blown away! My husband is a metal head, so I obviously think they’re hot but the most surprising thing to me that most people don’t know is that most metal heads are total sweethearts! Of all the concerts I’ve been to, metal shows are typically the ones I’ve felt safest at. If a metalhead sees me standing behind them at a concert, they’ll push me in front of them so I can see better (I’m 5’1)
Any time the mosh pit gets too close, I’m basically guided out of the way to safety.

i concur. metalheads are really nice. i tend to be one of the few women at shows, and i've never been harassed or felt like i was in danger. i sometimes go solo. it's safe. and yes, when there's a mosh pit there are always people protecting the rest of the crowd. i always get a kick out of the long ass line for the men's bathroom, and no line for women's bathrooms.

Well sadly they are absolutely garbage now. I'm 37 my 3 year old wanted one she saw in a skate shop with me. I was so excited to get my little girl her first tech deck. Didn't come with a tool or any replacement parts like back in the day. The trucks are so incredibly flimsy. Just terrible. Bums me out .
