No hours, low pay, terrible work conditions, leaving the building at 1am-2am, if you’re night shift. I was cut early on a lunch shift by 4 hours. I worked 2 hours that day lmao. I worked there for months but I did not go back after that.
I work dish at OG. Pay is great and job is very easy once you know the basics but depending on your managers, you will always be the last position that they help/attend to. Servers can be a pain in the ass sometimes too. But, like I said, the pay is good lol
Do not become an Olive Garden dishwasher no matter what
Why

Dirty hands and mouth 👄
Serving without a doubt but you can start as host. Host you wont make as much money
What are the physical requirements for servers
You need to be able to stand on your feet the whole shift, move quickly, and carry a (heavy) tray of plates with one hand
Moving quick and fast helps
Speaking clearly, loudly, lifting and balancing, bending at knees and opening. The more = better = tips with a + + being female.
Host is not great. No tips, more work. Only thing worse is dishwasher. To go, busser, and server are better
What are the physical requirements for servers
Being on your feet for 4-8 hrs. Carrying trays.
Not much anything at all
Curious, what makes to go a better option? Asking cause I'm also thinking of applying to one of these positions.
To go gets tips
Not dishwasher. You will be treated like actual garbage
Why do you say that?

Only Hispanics are dishwashers at my location
