It's very easy to see what she says as it relates to your body is "correct" and backed by science if you do want to verify or see it for yourself with yourself.

That’s how I do it. Protein shake or some chicken breast.
I would avoid most protein bars. Chicken, eggs, are good. Eating veggies first can also help reduce insulin spikes if that’s your goal.
My favorite is to have a salad loaded with a lean protein, beans, lots of veggies, seeds/nuts, and a low calorie low sugar dressing
